Installed this fan into a 1974 Ford Ranchero. Ditching the plug and rewiring was expected—no big deal. Fitment wasn’t perfect, but with a few workarounds, it went in fine. The packaging? Surprisingly secure—no loose parts, no damage in transit. The fan runs WAY better than the 40+ year-old original (you do the math), but the plastic fan blades give me pause. Feels like they might not survive a hard winter or a high-RPM summer.Conclusion: Solid upgrade, but time will tell if those plastic blades hold up.... 😎

Like another reviewer stated, when using it on my 2014 ford escape se 1.6 liter, I didn't have to shave the smaller amount off the plug hosing to get it to snap in place. But otherwise it works great.

I was replacing the blow motor on a 2014 Ford Escape and the plug wouldn’t go in. I had to shave down the plastic surrounding the prongs to get the plug to go in. Otherwise it fit and works
