Update- not all sticks fit nicely in the stick holder. Some we have are small diameter and wobble too much. Had to put tape around end of stick. Also, stands better without the black mat, which obviously we still use for the cones since they set directly on the bottom of the container.Appears this should serve my purpose. Pretty decorative item. Time will tell if it holds up nicely after burning cones.

I purchased this product based on the high rating, but unfortunately, my experience was not aligned with those reviews. While the design is aesthetically pleasing, the quality is concerning. When burning incense cones, the base heats up excessively and begins to burn the wood itself. This not only produces an unpleasant smell but also raises serious safety concerns. I genuinely hope the manufacturer addresses this issue to prevent potential fire hazards in the future.
