Speed of a Roller
The paint is loaded onto a standard roller which is then rolled on to the wall.
- You will easily and quickly cut in a 4" wide band of paint along the edge of the wall,
- You can edge between 5 to 8 feet between reloading the roller - much farther than with a regular paint brush.
- You get a rolled texture all the way to the edge of the wall, unlike a paint pad.
- You can easily use the roller to feather out the edge of this band to avoid "picture framing," or a thick band of paint around the edge of the wall.
Accuracy of a Paint Brush
A small brush then picks up the paint that the roller has left, and moves it precisely to the very edge of the wall. This brush provides a sharp, precise cut-in line. The brush is not loaded with paint.

MX Standard Edger
The lightweight MX handheld model excels at cutting in around doors and windows, chair rail and baseboards.
- This model can also be used along ceilings, but requires a ladder or scaffolding to do so, as it is not pole-mountable.
2 Replacement Rollers
Additional rollers allow you to quickly change paint colors while painting.
The rollers are 4" wide and 2" in diameter with a 3/8" poly-blend nap . These rollers provide a rolled texture from wall to wall The rollers are durable and can be washed and reused many times. Each roller holds enough paint to edge 5-8 feet in a single load. These rollers are the key to the speed of the Accubrush. Rollers are proprietary in design and not interchangeable with other rollers.

This paint roller worked like a charm. I read some of the reviews after I had already purchased the item and some of the reviews were bad enough that when I received the item I did not open it because I was planning on returning it, but I’m glad I didn’t. I decided to give it a try and this thing made my painting project look professionally done, and it drastically decreased my painting time. You just have to get in the groove to find the sweet spot…

I thought I would try this for my painting projects....except...it does NOT work as advertised. The paint does not paint up to the edge of the wall or border and just makes a mess. Save yourself the trouble and use the blue painter's tape instead of this product.

Because this product is not dual sided there will always be a corner or a section of the wall that it can not reach. However, this product does work well otherwise. It trimmed out my ceiling and baseboards with no dripping or overspill. It was easy to use and easy to clean. For the areas it could not reach I had to hand trim with a small paint brush. Overall it worked well but I’m not sure I’ll use it for other projects.

The edger looks good and has the appearance of a well-designed tool. It does a decent job of applying paint. However, the problem is the paint from the roller ALWAYS bleeds under the guard on to the adjacent surface you are trying to keep clean. Even on the very first pass after cleaning the guard off. At least with the Sherwin-Williams Pro Mar 200 flat paint I was using, it was not possible to get thorough coverage and avoid getting paint on the wrong side of the guard. The only place I could use it was above door/window casing or above upper cabinets. But in these places a brush works as good or better, so I threw it away after the first day of use.

These work as intended - no complaints. Certainly are helpful for painting days! I would recommend this kit if you're in need of one.

Doesn’t help me edge my basement wall and soaks up paint like a sponge. At least it put on coats of paint.
