The part delivered quickly and packaged securely. You do have to drain the coolant before starting maintenance as well as disconnecting the negative in the terminal (standard practice).The coolant thermostat was great quality and solid. My original only failed after hitting 120K miles, so I'm confident in replacing it with another GM part.Upon starting my vehicle back up, my check engine light cleared (P0597).If you haven't gotten the BlueDriver OBD2 reader yet, it really helps with diagnosis and has a link to the required part as well!

It not something that came in 3,or 4 days.Took 2 weeks,but it came in as ordered,and was put on right away by a mechanic.So far this ac delco thermostat housing sensor is working great.The issues i was having with the cooling system are gone..

Was easy to install and was a perfect fit, however would recommend that you also replace the water housing at the same time. It will save time and money so you only need to drain and replace the antifreeze only once.

Was exactly the same as the thermostat that I pulled off the car. Includes the gasket. Original thermostat broke due to some plastic tabs and this has the same design but original lasted 127k miles.
