Have a 2003 Sierra 3500 with overheating and hard shifting, rebuilt the transmission and still had the hard shifting. The truck finally threw a P1810, replaced this fluid pressure switch and it is now a cream puff again. Installed the TransGo HD2 kit during rebuild.

I run Holley EFI and this switch is where the ECU gets it's information from for gears. I noticed the gears showing up all weird. Installed a new switch and back to the way it was always meant to be!
