The pulley rubbed on the housing out of the box. After assembly it made an awful noise (metal on metal contact). Only solution was to remove the pulley and shim it slightly outward so the rim of the pulley did not touch the housing on the tensioner. Poor quality control from the factory. Other than that it installed just fine and tensions the belt adequately.
