Purchased for an average sized 10yo boy. He needed them to protect his elbows during practices and these are working out pretty well.They do move around a bit, but he is able to slide them back into place easily.My kiddo said he did not feel these cooled him. He did feel they warmed his arm and made him sweaty.For the price, the sleeves serve the purpose we need them for

Item arrived as advertised. Sleeves were order for arm cushion during rigging work.The fabric is light to medium weight and provides a comfortable fit from top to bottom without cutting circulationThe outer pads provide protection from bumps and also cushion if leaning.The sleeves were worn during an 8 hour shift and retained their location on my arms and did not cause any added sweating.Would recommend.

I got these for my daughter who plays volleyball. I was worried that with the padding she wouldn't be able to dive and slide as she normally does, but that's not the case. She loves these and I'm sure i'll be buying another pair when she wears this set out! Very happy with them They've held up 100% through multiple practices and weekend tournaments now.

Really great for additional protection. Adds a little layer so it helps with warmth as well. Theres pads around the forearm bone and the elbow. Fits a 12 y0 boy weighing 80 lbs perfectly.

If I'm not old, I'm pretty close. I have 3 grandsons, 7, 9, and 12. It's hard to find something they all like to do that I can also do. When their mother was a little girl, I was dad and I took her and her sister roller skating on Saturday mornings. I was a young man then, and I wasn't so worried about getting injured. I'm interested in avoiding injury, now, as an old-ish man. I got myself a set of knee pads, elbow pads, and (softball) sliding pants. This review is for the elbow pads. They are full sleeves, shoulder to wrist. They are a touch tight for me, but the chart indicated they would be, so I'm not surprised, nor will I reduce their rating for this. They are very good padding for my elbows. I put them on and hit my elbows on our heavy wooden dining room table. Total protection. The quality of the pad itself seems very good. The sleeve is slightly lower build quality. The comfort level is 3 star - I'm not sure if there are any that are comfortable. They are easy on/off, and they seem to stay in place pretty well. That was actually my big concern. Turns out they're tight enough to stay in place, just not that comfortable. I've played lots of sports, but this is the first time I've worn elbow pads. Maybe they're all uncomfortable, and if you have worn them previously you may be expecting that. If this is your first time (like me), then you should expect they'll be tolerable, but they're never going to be very comfortable. It was my goal to wear a long sleeve shirt over this. It's like spandex, and it's kinda hot. I fear that if the rink is warmer than cold, these are going to be hot.Other than the myeh quality of the sleeves, I have nothing to complain about in this specific make/model. I do think that if you've never worn them, you're going to find them hot and slightly uncomfortable. I haven't washed them yet, but I know I'm going to have to. I usually wear cotton because when I wear synthetic under my arms, my wife says I get "stinky". Not the fault of this item, but it does mean I'm going to have to wash them regularly. In terms of protection for price (the reason I am buying them) they’re great. In terms of overall comfort rating they’re only a three.Four Stars
