Ich bin wirklich begeistert von der USB-C Docking Station von Acer – sie hat mein Arbeiten am Laptop deutlich komfortabler gemacht. Mit nur einem Anschluss kann ich jetzt zwei Monitore, mehrere USB-Geräte und sogar SD-Karten gleichzeitig nutzen. Besonders praktisch finde ich die beiden HDMI-Ports, die gestochen scharfe Bildqualität liefern – ideal für Multitasking und kreative Projekte. Auch das schnelle Laden über den 100W-PD-Anschluss ist ein echter Pluspunkt, vor allem unterwegs. Die Datenübertragung ist blitzschnell, und das kompakte Design passt perfekt auf meinen Schreibtisch. Für mich ist dieser Hub ein unverzichtbares Zubehör für effizientes Arbeiten – ob im Büro oder auf Reisen.

I do all my work on a laptop, but my computer only has two usb-c ports. I often need to pull things from flash drives, connect a printer, or SD card. This is a very convenient dock to keep around so I can connect everything I will ever need. It came in handy when I was traveling for a presentation and the conference space required an HDMI connection for the projector. It is really nice to be able to just throw this in my backpack and know I will be covered to connect to pretty much any device I might need.

(ASIN: B0DW85W3FV), den ich als "Vine-Voice" testen durfte (s.u.).Die Dockingstation wird in einer Einzelhandelsverpackung geliefert, eine vollständige Deklaration mit Maßen, technischen Daten usw. ist auf der Verpackung. Wie erwartetet bei einem Markenprodukt ist auch eine mehrsprachige Bedienungsanleitung dabei, in der die wichtigsten Features, Übertragungsraten der Anschlüsse sowie die möglichen Bild-Modi der beiden HDMI-Anschlüsse aufgelistet sind. Es gibt sogar eine deutschsprachige Kundendienst-Hotline (im deutschen Festnetz erreichbar Mo.-Fr. von 9-17 Uhr), super!Dass die Docking-Station mit acer-Laptops hervorragend zusammenarbeitet, konnte man erwarten, aber auch mit anderen Laptops gab es keine Probleme (getestet unter Windows 10 und Windows 11). Sie wird einfach mit dem USB-C-Anschluss des Rechners verbunden, eine Treiberinstallation ist nicht erforderlich.Die Docking-Station bietet 4 USB-3.0-Ausgänge zur Datenübertragung (keine Stromversorgung externer Geräte), davon 3x USB-A und 1x USB-C, alle mit 5 Ghps Datenrate. Dann einen USB-C-PD-Anschluss (Power Delivery) neben dem Anschlusskabel, darüber lässt sich das verbundene Gerät sogar gleichzeitig mit bis zu 100 W laden - praktisch, wenn der Laptop nur einen einzigen USB-C-Port hat, dieser ist dann auch mit angeschlossener Dockingstation nicht blockiert und das Gerät kann zugleich geladen werden. Eine Besonderheit sind gleich zwei HDMI-Anschlüsse für externe Monitore. Bei gleichzeitiger Verwendung werden 4K / 30 Hz unterstützt; ein einzelner Monitor kann sogar mit 4K / 60 Hz betrieben werden. Auf den angeschlossenen Monitoren lässt sich der Laptopmonitor (A) wahlweise duplizieren (A/A/A) oder erweitern (A/B/B) oder - nur unter Windows - sogar dual erweitern (A/B/C). Obwohl nicht explizit aufgeführt, müsste unter Windows auch A/A/B möglich sein. Schließlich sind noch SD-Kartenslots vorhanden, die ich aber weder benötige noch getestet habe.Eine Besonderheit ist der kleine Schalter, mit dem sich durch einen einfachen Tastendruck der PC sperren lässt (entspricht unter Windows der Bildschirmsperre im Startmenü). Super praktisch! Am Mac muss man lt. Anleitung 2x drücken.Die Verarbeitung ist top, ein schlichtes, kompaktes Metallgehäuse. Oddly enough I didn't think my Acer USB C Docking Station was working. Dead as a doornail and then I unplugged it and plugged it back and wah-lah, it works perfectly. Strange...but beautiful in the end. I particularly like the SD regular and mini port on the front end. Just what the doctor ordered. I'm a' keeping it! Wow!

Way more expensive than the rest. Seems sort of cheap I don’t know what was so special about it. But does it work and do what I need it to do. Yes. My only complaint is it being $40. Put it gave me all the ports that I needed. That’s why I got it. The shipping was fast. The cable is short. But I didn’t need it to be long.

So I’ve been using this Acer USB-C docking station for a few weeks now, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. It’s one of those gadgets that quietly makes your setup way more convenient without you realizing just how much you needed it.Right off the bat, the dual HDMI outputs are a huge win for me. I’ve got two external monitors hooked up, and it handles 4K resolution without any noticeable lag or hiccups.✅ Dual HDMI for dual monitors – works great with crisp resolution✅ Plenty of ports – USB-A, USB-C, SD, microSD – everything I need is there✅ Fast charging – It passes through power up to 100W, so I can keep my laptop fully charged without juggling multiple chargers✅ Clean desk setup – One cable into my laptop and I’m good to go, which is awesome for quick docking and undockingAlso, I’ve tested it with both a MacBook and a Windows laptop (Dell XPS), and it worked with both straight out of the box—no driver installs, no weird compatibility issues.Now, not everything’s perfect. A couple of things bug me:❌ The unit gets warm – Not hot enough to worry, but definitely noticeable after a few hours of use❌ Short cable – The built-in USB-C cable is kinda short, so depending on your desk layout, it might not reach where you want it❌ Not the sleekest design – It’s functional, but a little bulkier than I expectedBut honestly, those issues haven’t been dealbreakers for me. For the price, the feature set is solid, and it’s made my home office setup way smoother. If you’ve got a USB-C laptop and want to expand your connectivity without overcomplicating things, this little dock gets the job done.

UPDATED REVIEW:I was excited to buy this docking station, had high hopes for a reputable brand.The good:- It was truly a plug-and-play- Screen and headphones connected with no issuesThe bad:- My mouse was a bit slow at timesThe Update:- As soon as i left my original 2-star review here, Acer contacted me with offer of support, refund, and prompts for testing to identify potential issue. It is great to see a company that stands by its product and is willing to help customer have a great experience. I`ve updated my review to 5 stars to reflect this commitment.

I got this little hub for my workstation. It works great, was easy to set up and doesn’t require any driver installation. It’s nice and compact, taking up minimal space. It doesn’t get too warm and is slim enough that it can pretty much fit anywhere. Connected right away with no issues.
