Physically it fits, which is nice. The handles are great. However, the included 12V power cable won't fit in the center console with the coin tray. For this price, I'd expect a shorter plug. I ended up buying a right angle adapter cable so I could keep the tray inside.I think it should be used more like an ice chest. Take the unit inside, power it up and get it cooled, load it up, transport it into your car, pack extra stuff on top of it, travel, unpack, and then take it out to the destination. This helps prevent condensation and keeps everything clean.I received an AC adapter for this product, which is fantastic and makes it much more convenient to use. I highly recommend getting a AC adapter.

Very high quality and very spacious! The app works great and the refrigerator cools fast! Must have for a road trip!

My friend had this cooler for a while and they adored it. I finally heeded their advice, and it's fantastic. We've only used it once so far, but I anticipate we'll use it frequently. It's a nice touch that they include spacers to attach to the bottom of the sub-trunk cover for improved ventilation.I find the app quite efficient. I might even prefer it over using the unit's buttons. If I have to be picky, the one aspect I dislike is the way the cord connects to the refrigerator. It seems to insert only one way, making the cord angle towards the vehicle's rear. In my car, there's more space behind the refrigerator, closer to the front, which would be ideal for routing the cord. The current design means the cord has to bend back on itself to route it my preferred way. Only time will tell, but I hope it holds up.I'll certainly recommend other Model Y owners to consider this cooler.Edit: We took a road trip from Michigan out to Utah, and the cooler worked well. My only gripe would be that the temperature display on the cooler did not match the app.

I bought this as a new addition to my Tesla model 3 and it fit well into the sub-trunk area. I use the provided cable about 9 meters long has sufficient length to wire it through backseat and route to middle console in front. The only minor thing i wish the cigarette connector can be little less in profile so i can better fit the existing box for storage in middle console without bending the wire too much. To provide better heat dissipation, they also provide vented board to replace existing one which close up the sub-trunk.I tested with the app as well the connection to fridge is fairly quick no registration need simply scan and connect. I was able to set temperature directly from my phone, adjust temperature as well as turning fridge on/off. For temperature test, I set fridge to 0 c and placed bottle of water inside and get around 4 c.This is really a well design product that well fit into tesla I cant wait to camp with this in our upcoming summer trip.

Bought this and loved having cold drinks. Tesla then altered their software so the power outlet is off when parked or charging. Frig is worthless now. Scooter needs to pressure Tesla to restore the power supply. I’ve complained already. The only way to make it work now is to put it in camp mode, then manually turn off A/C and manually lock the doors every time you park. It used to be effortless.Update: I have the solution. I purchased the Anker Solix C300 DC power bank on Amazon for $150. You also need a car lighter adapter that outputs 100Watts to a USB-C jack. I bought the Anker iPhone 16 USB-C charger 167.5 watts on Amazon for $40. The battery fits easily in a corner cubby hole and only occupies about half the space. It will power the frig (bigger trunk frig) for 24 hours or more. I set Tessie automation to run Camp Mode for three hours every night when my car is in the garage so that the battery is at 100% when I start the day. It lasts all day easily. During the hot summer I may need to add a second Camp Mode charging session but we'll see.

My 2021 model y turns off the 12v power outlet in the trunk whenever the car is left. Both dog mode and sentry do not keep the power on. The only way to keep the fridge running is with camp mode. I’m not sure this will work for me.Update: the fridge is well insulated and holds its temperature when fully stocked. Have used this a few times when off grid camping and it didn’t use much power to keep it cycling on with camp mode every few hours.

I love this fridge! I live in Arizona where most the time it's very hot. It's nice to be able to go to the grocery store and not have to rush home to put your groceries in the fridge. The TesFridge allows you to run other errands all while your stuff stays nice and cold. I've even forgot to unload some milk when I got home and remembered two days later- my milk was nice and cold and not spoiled. Obviously it's just nice to have cold bottled water ready all the time.
