For the money you can't beat these to look around in a dark backyard or pasture. The image quality is good. If you're trying to view an area in total darkness it will still be bright and crisp but the IR illuminator is quite bright. For the money you won't find a better option for viewing what goes bump in the night.

I own a bunch of NVG units ranging from high end to low end. This unit is low end, but it has a lot of value and cool options. It’s a digital unit, so there are a lot of things to consider. Digital units are pretty neat. They are like the ring doorbell cameras with some great night vision capabilities. Where the digital ones struggle is movement. Movement tends to get blurry quick. Here are some thoughts on this budget unit.Pros:- great feel in hand and strap to hold it with ease- bright lcd screen- crisp picture- included charging cord, and wall box! (The box included seems to be rare)- night vision is pretty good. With the IR set on the highest setting I could easily see 200 yards in cloudy conditions- menu is easy to navigate- nice pouch included- includes lens cap- powerful IR lightCons:- no gaskets to protect it from rain. Be very careful!- the thread on the unit to attach it to a tri-pod had burrs on it and needed them removed before it was able to thread.- fixed 4x base zoom can be a bit annoying in indoor settings- IR light emits a red light facing out, so if you’re looking for stealth it might not be your unit.Overall this is a nice unit for the price. Perfect for hunting or just checking out your property. It may be cheap, but it has a lot of nice features. I’ll put this in my backpack for hiking and hunting!

This isn't even good as a kids toy!! These photos were taken with the built in "camera", and whoawww....look at that 1080 quality!?! One is a picture of a digital readout, supposed to say 140* (this was about 6' away) the second I believe is a door knob? (about 10' away) The other two....well I can't say for sure, but the "night vision" was anything but. It's digitally zoomed in (even with it zoomed all the way out) so anything up close is so zoomed in you can't tell what it is, and zero quality. Anything further away (like out in a field) looks like the last pic because the IR light is so weak it can't cast lighting that far. Absolutely useless. And your FOV gets minimized from 200* down to about 15*. Even with decent moon light out these things were dark outside. I would have better luck having my blind dog describe the scene to me vs using these....

I got this for myself and my grandkids to watch wildlife around our property at night. It has worked very well. It is so much fun to see animals at night, how they roam around almost carefree because they don't think they are being watched. You must still be very quiet! For ease of use, I was pretty pleased. It is fairly straightforward to operate it. Even the grandkids found it easy to understand and control. They in fact showed me one or two things that I didn't know. The only thing I don't like is that you have to hold down on the power button for a long time to turn it on. I guess that is not a big deal in the big picture of things but it just seems excessive to me. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It has been a lot of fun so far!

This night vision scope I've mixed thoughts about. Item came in, was packaged well, and included usb cord, carrying case, scope, instructions. It is fairly simple to operate and it does illuminate for a long distance via near-infared led. The grip is a little small for my fingers to reach through and rest on top of the hard press buttons. The instructions are pretty straight forward. The cons in my opinion are the menus and button presses take quite a bit of getting used too. Secondly is even with the LCD brightness turned all the way down, the screen through the eyepiece is super bright, and when your eyes are adjusted for the night, the brightness is blinding. The final dislike is the resolution of the screen inside the eyepiece. It is definitely not a HD image, reminded me of the days when computers had CRT monitors running at 640x480 pixels. Overall with the scopes price, I feel 3 stars is the best I can give this one

I have had the monocular a few days and taken it out and worked with it several times. I found the owner's manual was quite helpful and was needed for some functions. I have uploaded pictures of the complete manual for your convenience. The controls are intuitive to me, work well and simple enough. The image quality at night is outstanding- especially considering the price. The daylight images remind me to use regular binocular or monocular instead. The photos and videos are good quality and these features are easy to use. The size and weight are good- but again, for this price you shouldn't be complaining about size and weight- it's pretty good. The best thing is it is quiet- makes no sound. This unit is a great solution for me. So far so good- I recommend it. :)
