Tried this bit after 3/16” 304SS dulled several HSS cutters (many holes each), this is very sharp but the slug is too big to fit inside the cutter so it has a very limited depth of cut. I could cut through 1 layer of 3/16 but not into the second with out picking out the slug. This was not necessary with the HSS, very annoying.

I'm hugely disappointed with this bit. I bought this bit to drill 20 holes through 3/8" steel plate. On the 3rd hole 3 of the 4 carbide cutters broke off. Useless and a waste of money. My speed was 300rpm, I'm lubricating with cutting oil, not using excessive pressure. Cheap box store twist bits were able to drill more holes than this $35 bit.
