The RPM needle rests at what ever RPM the engine is shut off at. It never rests on "0" when the engine is shut off. Was returned for a different tach

My Sun Super tach stopped working. Was quoted $325.00 plus shipping to get it repaired. This tach looks just like the old Sun tach, except my old tach was a 10000 rpm, and works great.

It is a nice piece. Replacing my original Sun Suoer Tac from the 60s which went bad I am very happy with the look so close to original you will enjoy it. Also it is MSD compatible. Very happy with purchase

Great classic Tach, I installed it on my 76 F150. It looks awesome and is super easy to read and install.My only difficulty was I had to slightly bend the mounting bracket for the steering column to get the angle right. But that’s no big deal as the brackets are universal fit so can’t blame them.
