They do not stop at the set pressure. They do work but need babysitting, to prevent going too low.

Upon receiving these, I immediately went outside and set them at 30psi (as the tire shop had them at 38) as to calm my rough ride on mud tires. By the time I got the 4th one adjusted, the 1st one was already done deflating! Can't wait to make much use of these in the dunes and rocks

Before relying on them you might need to unscrew the top, pull out the spring plunger and clean it. 3 of the 4 worked down to 15 psi but the other one didn’t even start to let air out. I tested all of them on a trailer tire starting at 50 psi. First set to 25 psi and the same 3 worked down perfectly. Next I stepped down to 15 psi and the same 3 worked. The other did nothing. After taking it apart, cleaning it with air pressure and spraying a little silicone on the inside and reassembling. It too works perfectly. Now I will clean and lube the others just for peace of mind.

Ok - I honestly didn’t expect to be impressed by these, as I have a set of tire deflators from a highly reputable (popular) brand - which I won’t name, but I will say they like the color green.I’ve never had success with my previous set mentioned above. I have one reliable deflator, and three that are off by more than 5 PSI. I have a modified Jeep on 35” tires which I air down to roughly 15 PSI when I go off-road.I’m blown away by the quality, appearance and functionality of these deflators. I’ve used several times, and every time each of the four deflators get within 1 PSI of the set amount - verified with two digital gauges.Highly recommend!

These worked for me and stopped right at the set point, though I have seen others run into issues with the spring not tripping right at the set point without jiggling them a bit. I don't usually sit back and sip coffee while my tires are deflating out in the wild (as per the advertisement), so I don't mind keeping watch to make sure the air stops coming out. I haven't had a problem thus far, but I'll keep an eye out and update if needed. It should probably go without saying, but don't trust anything to stop on its own if you're far from civilization without a way to reinflate your tires. I've got an onboard compressor, and I still watch them just to make sure. This set has worked great for me and I don't have any trouble recommending them to anybody who wants to ai-down their tires consistently to a specific pre-set.
