I'm a semi-professional 'stitcher (10-20 commissions/year) and needed an upgrade to save my wrists some strain. I bought several different stands for test-drives.I will NOT be keeping this one. Here's why:- Assembly was difficult (15-20 min) and the knobs weren't as smooth as the competitions- Height was fine for an office or kitchen chair, but I also needed some extra length for a bend to get it closer on a deep-seated couch. Result was not comfortable or ergonomic.- Difficult hoop tilt adjustments. Honestly, the whole hoop clamp situation on this stand was not great. It was also the ugliest/clunkiest part of the whole stand depsite being the thing I'd see the most.Pros for manufacturers and consumers consideration:- Foot shape is really cute and makes the whole thing very stable. Legs were also cute and very smooth.- Collapses pretty small despite it's considerable height.

Instructions are terrible. The stand has lots of adjustable parts but you cannot tighten them enough to feel steady. Not sure it's worth the cost.

I wanted a sturdy stand to do my cross stitch on and this is it , it's tight it holds all the different size hoops I use and it grips them good you can also turn the hoop over to tie off your work without taking the hoop off the stand it does not tip over when you move and when you put it in the position you want it it will stay there until you move it I'm very happy with this purchase and I use it alot for the price it was well worth it !☺

I have been looking for a stand (lap, floor, and table top) and I thought this was it. It is well made as the wood is smooth and sturdy, kind of heavy though. The instructions to assemble were minimal, but I got it assembled within a half hour. My issue is the screws do not stay tightened down. I am constantly tightening them. And I am wondering if wing nuts will resolve this issue. The hoop holder does not hold the Nurge hoops well, but it will have to do. Pkg arrived on time and in good shape.

I purchased this stand to hold my hoops and frames to work my embroidery and goldwork pieces. After the past few months with it I ended up giving up for a better stand. This is a very poorly made stand! It DOES NOT HOLD its shape! No matter what I’d tried the screws would not stay tight! To the point of if I knocked it the wrong way the arms would collapse! Very inconvenient whilst stitching! It made my work tedious and several times making me have to find pieces that had spilt onto the floor after the screws failed to hold the arms! The only positive about this is that the clamp did hold my hoop and frames very well.If I could return it I would! Buyer beware! Don’t waste your money or time!

This is one of my purchase to add on to my embroidery hobby. Really helps when I am embroidering long hours. Not heavy, portable enough to bring along to nearby cafe when I want a cuppa while embroidering and has definitely helped with my posture and ease my neck and hand strain. And compact enough to be used even on bed on days i wish to snuggle and embroider

Not only can it hold cross stitch hoops, it can also hold knitting looms as demonstrated in the pictures. It's smooth, no rough patches to grab thread or yarn. Everything fits together nicely. Each section is numbers so it was very easy to put together. Love it. Definitely recommend, not just for cross stitch, but other looms as well.

Hinges need better way to tighten so it stays up and not fall down when using it think they should have used longer screws and better washers

I was afraid when I opened this package to find so many parts to put together! But, to my delight, it was easy! It's very sturdy. I immediately started using it and it is so much better than holding the hoop! Don't wait to buy this- it's worth every penny!! I wish I'd gotten this years ago.
