I tried using this for a cross stitch project using 11 CT Aida cloth and the tension on the metal hoop is so strong that it's very hard to use. There's no room between the outer ring and the metal hoop for fabric to fit! Do not trust the "verified purchaser" reviews that gave it 4 or 5 stars!
