Handy to have hardware for a chair/stair rail, Some stair cases are missing lengths, like my new one and you can have rail cut at the local wood places and you can put up your own stair rail

Really easy to install only had to add a different placement of holes in my railing I have a special needs brother who’s over weight and keeps braking our railing bracket so I hope the swivel head will aid with longevity with a little bit of give

These strong, steel, adjustable-angle handrail brackets are absolutely perfect for a short but difficult set of steps at my cottage. They will be installed in a cement retaining wall at what will be the perfect inclining angle, thanks to the swivel built into each of the three brackets in this set.Another nice thing about these brackets is that they will anchor almost any size & type of handrail you have in mind. The three-point anchoring pattern will ensure the handrail doesn't start to wobble and "walk" over years of service. While my installation will ensure the brackets and handrail will be protected by an overhang from the elements, thereby reducing the chance of rust, powder coat black finish should prove rustproof for years in almost any location.This set of three comes with a hardware package containing screws, wall anchors and even a small open-end wrench and allen key for tightening the swivel bolts on each of the three brackets once you have them positioned as you wish. Nice.I see no reason not to give these all steel, well-made and well-designed handrail brackets a two thumbs up evaluation. 5 out of 5.

The other adjustable handrail brackets I have in the house are of the more common type where the rail is supported by a round horizontal piece that's attached to a swiveling U-shaped metal strap the arms of which screw into the wood. What's different about these is the swivel mechanism, which is a proper hinge that is immobilized by a set screw. The set screws hold well meaning that one potential way to use these brackets is singly for very short sections of railing.
