The Stainless Steel Handrail Bracket Magnetar Square for Flat Bottom handrails. Magnetar Square Slim is sleek in design, easy to install and is sturdy upon completion. This bracket leaves a 1 9/16" gap between a wall and the top rail, meeting ADA requirement of a 1 1/2" gap.

  • Finish ASTM A480 No 4 linearly textured satin finish
  • Stainless Steel AISI 316 Marine Grade for outdoor and indoor areas

A very clean and sturdy bracket. It needs to be installed directly into 3 inch deep framing. This could make your spacing look odd. The screw hander need to be perfectly perpendicular to the wall or you will get the gap in the picture. It came with the machine screw for a metal handrail. My hand rail was wood, so I used a #10x2-1/2" pan head screw.

This bracket is BEAUTIFUL!!! and solid and heavy......but the design is flawed and the instructions make installation a real pain.....all in all, I am happy with with the bracket, but had I known what a headache the install is I would have opted for a different bracket.
