The product looks used. The base is dirty, the post itself is banged and scratched with the outer enamel chipping on the end. Also small dent at poles end. I hope the damage isnt enough to impact the products integrity.

Used this product to temporarily support patio cover beam until it can be replaced. Carriage bolts probably should have been replaced with regular bolt-nut configuration since the pre-drilled holes are circular. Assembly was very easy, everything aligned well, and the product is sturdy and well built.

I bought two of these to support the 1st wooden floor above which my 180 gallon fish tank sits. It's not difficult to setup, and overall good quality. It's been up for a month and is still very stable. The top and bottom plate doesn't have to be welded to the beam as when fully loaded it is fixed in position, unless you intentionally kick it very very hard.
