Very Easy to Assemble
Step 1
Identify and ensure that you have received all the parts of the stand.
Step 2
Secure the adjustable rod to the stand's base using the screw and washer that comes with the set.
Step 3
Attach the thread guide to one end of the adjustable rod, and turn it clockwise to lock it in place, as shown.
Step 4
Assemble the small pin to the base of the stand.

Very heavy & sturdy. All pieces fasten together so it becomes one unit. Base is painted cast iron so it's weighted and won't tip.

A game changer -- works great with even the largest thread cones. Easy to put together, though no instructions were included and I needed to go online for the needed information. I did use some tools to slightly separate the weld at the top, so that thread could be "threaded" without having to place the end of the thread through the loop. Allows me to save some money by buying good thread in bulk. Sits firmly, without tipping or moving, even when stitching and quilting.

I like the heavy base. Product quality is the best I’ve found on Amazon. When you screw on the pole to the base it isn’t that great. You have to be careful not to over screw it in or it will be difficult to unscrew. It’s basically locked in. I couldn’t unscrew it to align the hoop over the middle short pole. I ended up turning the long pole so tight to the base to get it to align. It’s my go to spool stand over the plastic ones I used to own. Worth the price. Only wish they came with a cone to keep the large thread spool from moving and/or sliding on the base.

Super easy to put together. Very easy picture and descriptive instructions on the package, base is cast iron so definitely sturdy/heavy enough. Height is also perfect for my machine and I think it would work just fine with most any sewing machine.
