It is made of heavy-duty aluminum. You can feel the good texture when you hold it in your hand. It is not the kind of light material, so it is very safe to use. It is compatible with a 2-inch receiver and is very stable. The double anti-theft lock pin is also very considerate to prevent being stolen, and it is more secure when you go out to pull things. The 6-inch up and down adjustment range is enough. Whether it is a flatbed trailer or a higher camping trailer, it can be easily leveled without temporary pads of wood, which is much more convenient. The hook fastener design is also very practical. There is no loose or swaying sound during driving, and it feels very stable during towing.

A capable adjustable hitch. It comes with a lot of parts and a manual that is only marginally helpful. This hitch itself seems well made. The surfaces all seem to be machined and the adjustable part slides smoothly. The ball can be switched by removing one pin and rotating the ball. It comes with two locking pins which is all you need to secure the hitch to your vehicle. The third pin is removed to rotate the ball but you can’t remove the hitch so it doesn’t lock. It comes with several rubber spacers that slip over the tube that goes into the receiver. I believe that is supposed to help keep it from rattling. If you put more than one on the tube, you can’t slide the ball all the way up to the top. That seems like a design problem. It also comes with a bunch of O-rings that go over the pins. The manual doesn’t explain what those are for. It also comes with a plate and a u-shaped bolt that is supposed to keep the hitch from rattling when there is no trailer attached. My problem with that piece is that you can’t install it unless you install the pin in the receiver in the outer hole. I’m not really sure why there are 2 holes in the hitch but I don’t want to move the whole hitch assembly further out. So bottom line, the hitch is pretty well made and is quite usable but the accessories are a little less functional. I’m replacing an older hitch that didn’t have any of those “extras” anyway so I’m happy with it. If the anti-rattle function is important to you, you can move the hitch out and install it. I decided that was a no-go for me.

The appearance is very textured, the all-black coating looks calm and low-key, and it feels a little matte, not easy to scratch and resistant to dirt. After using it for a period of time, there is basically no sign of paint loss or rust. The adjustment range is a 2-inch ball head with a 6-inch lifting range, which is very suitable whether I am towing a small trailer or installing it behind an RV to pull some equipment. It is also very convenient to adjust. There is no need to disassemble it. Just loosen the adjustment hole and tighten it. What makes me most satisfied is the hook fastener it comes with, which can really greatly reduce the shaking and "clicking" sound during driving. I used to hear the hook shaking slightly when driving on the highway. This time, with the addition of this fastener, it is obviously much quieter, the connection is very stable, and I feel more at ease to tow heavy objects on the road.

Hitch arrived well packaged and damage free, which is as good thing considering this has some weight to it.This comes complete with keyed alike hitch pins, a anti-rattle bracket and rubber spacers.The overall quality of the hitch is impressive except for the ball portion of it.I am very confused why the manufacturer decided on a rotating ball design that is secured in place with a pin.This pin could easily be eliminated considering this really adds nothing to the hitch design and really seems like a weak point in the hitch. You could just as easily flip that entire bracket over to change the hitch ball size.Because of this design feature I would not purchase again or recommend. There are better options at the current price point of just under $150 in my opinion.
