If you have an enclosed/insulated frame there is no way to attach this tire mount as indicated in the instructions, especially if you have a full size spare. Thank goodness I can weld and had the ability to engineer a solution. To send it back is almost $50 in shipping...if you order it, you stuck with it. If you don't have an insulated frame/open space between main frame then you can most likely mount normally. For me it was an additional 2 hours, angle iron, and welding to make it work. Maybe I missed something in the initial product description...possibly a larger plate available for such applications. Wondering if anyone who produced this product attempted to mount with insulated frame?...

The box was demolished. Had a sticker on it where it had been returned by another person. The sticker was marked “missing parts”. It did not have any of the mounting hardware

It works great to hold my spare between supports under the trailer. The material it is made out of could be a bit better.

The hide-a-spare is a good option to relocate your spare tire. For the Forest River Wold Pup series, you will need to cut the tubes shorter, involves cutting and drilling, but once mounted, it works great.

Cut a few inches off the pipes and it fit perfectly under my RPod 178. Only two bolts on each side fit into the frame so I plan on welding it. Drilled a hole in the telescoping part for a lock. It was shipped perfectly fine for what it is and after modifications I had done more damage than the shipping ever could.

This was easy to install. Its great being able to put the spare tire under the camper instead of in my truck or on the back bumper. No risk of the bumper falling off from the extra weight. One less thing to worry about forgetting to take along. Only thing I would change is to have two mounts on it so I could put both my spares underneath. I will modify it to include a second spare mount. If BAL was smart they would add the second mount as I am not the only person who has modified it to hold a second tire.
