I'm at the beach every day in Florida. I like these. They are NOT luxurious and definitely NOT high fashion, but if you just want something simple and comfortable for the beach these are good. I see that some people state that the sizing on these is really small. So, I was cautious and ordered a larger size of X-Large instead of my usual Large and so I did not find a sizing problem and they seemed the correct size for my "God like middle aged body". These may be described as tailored with a slightly baggy fit, but baggy is popular with surfers and also a good cut for middle aged men. Waist is a generous size with good elastic and also a cord inside to tighten them. So, comfortable above water and secure below water. Synthetic material feels pleasant on skin and will not shrink and fabric does not hold water for long, is easy to wring out and dries reasonably fast, so is O. K.. These feel very comfortable. Bottom line is: I liked these enough, as a value with a very low price, that I went ahead and re-ordered a 2nd one of them as a 'saver' for future use. Most reviews said these were very smaller than they normally should be. Actual numbers-my waist is 33" and I bought size XL. These are a little loose and comfortable, like a surfer swim suit, in the hot sun the way I like it. Synthetic material will not shrink. Later note - 6 months later - I wore this swim shorts for 6 months (approx. 65 times at beach) and they still look good. Suit is very well constructed and strong.
