even though I haven't purchased, since adding 30 or so pieces to my wardrobe, I am finding the same good quality of new releases. Only downside of this last order, even though I ordered the same size as the past (L), I had to return and upgrade to XL. Not a problem, since Amazon has a liberal return policy.The checkered design is awesome and it might pay to pick up an extra...because, when they run out, they run out!

These are sporty for my walks and swims. Quick drying, even indoors. It gets hot here, so the lightweight fabric helps in staying a bit cooler, when on a hike or a long walk.

Very happy with this item. Finally someone has put together a board short that isn't for some ultra-thin surfer model. The fit of the xxl I got is great, with plenty of room for the boys, and items in the zippered pockets, and it is still very comfortable with room to spare. Functionally, the elastic waist band and the stretch of the material makes moving, swimming, sitting, and lounging around comfortable. The zippered pockets were easy to open and close as needed without using two hands all the time. All in, a good value for a very functional and comfortable swim/board short.

These trunks fit well and have an elastic waistband to really stay on. It's thicker material than those cheap swimtrunks so you know this is some quality. Not to mention the blue is such a great color on these. You can easily walk out in these as they are not see-through. They make the swim trunks sound, which my dogs are not a fan of, so they start barking at me. The zipper pockets are larger than expected and are designed like back pockets. This makes them super secure for like keys and such. The only odd thing is the pockets are on the side, like where a holster would sit. All in all its a really good set of trunks that are comfortable to wear.

If you're looking for swim/athletic shorts that are comfortable, look nice, and have pockets, you'll really like these!I LOVE that there is a combination of zippered and Velcro pockets! The zippered pockets even have flexible tabs on them. A very nice touch!The material is lightweight and stretchy but doesn't feel very thin or cheap. I do really wish these came with a liner in them though. They aren't ideal for swimwear because of that unless you wear something underneath.I also feel these are true to size. I have a sturdy and athletic build but these have plenty of room in the waist, butt, and legs. You definitely don't have to worry about bunching or binding!Overall I definitely recommend these if you're looking for a set of athletic/swim shorts especially at such a value oriented price point.

Fit is off. I got a XL, which should just be loose and instead it falls right off me. The legs are also so long, it looks like I'm wearing my older brothers hand me down clothes. Color is very bright though.
