I’ve used this adapter several times, and the charging speed is impressive. Once inserted, it automatically locks in place, preventing accidental disconnection during charging, which provides peace of mind. Unlocking requires just a single press of the top button, making it much easier to use compared to other adapters that require multiple steps. The temperature control is excellent—charging for extended periods doesn’t cause overheating, likely due to the three built-in temperature sensors. The build quality is solid, with a durable alloy button and a non-slip design for easy handling. Highly recommended!

This is a very good adapter that has solid weight to it. It was a lot heavier than I expected, but in a good way. It weighs about 2 lbs, so once this gets locked onto the charge, it feels very solid and there is no rattling feeling. It is able to charge my car at the full speeds. Just make sure your car is on Tesla's approved list, if not, it will not charge.

My husband owns a car lot / mechanic shop and we are getting a lot of newer electric vehicles in so I have been getting some nice adapters like these like crazy because we have a couple main charging Outlets but the Chargers don't fit for all the cars we have coming in and it just so happens that one of our vehicles needs a charger like this so I had to scoop it up. It came well packed and secured there was no damage whatsoever and everything was perfectly as described in the ad. Be sure you go over all the models and makes that this is compatible with before purchasing just to be sure it's a good fit. As long as you do that it's definitely worth it in terms of quality and how well it works. This charges the vehicle up quickly and the charge last a long time. This easily slides into place and locks into place on the charger with no problem. Everything seems very sealed well and safe. If you're thinking about it don't hesitate it's definitely worth it! It claims compatibility with several major brands, including Ford, GM, Rivian, and Mercedes, but I notice it won’t work with Tesla vehicles themselves or older EV models. Its build is heavier than I expected, with aluminum alloy buttons and an anti-slip texture. The auto-locking mechanism secures both the charger and vehicle ends when plugged in, and power cuts off before unlocking. The triple temperature sensor system is supposed to prevent overheating and unnecessary charging interruptions. The IP65 rating means it should be able to handle rain or dust. Charging speed depends on the vehicle and Supercharger, but I see the specs promise up to 500A/1000V DC fast charging. It also doesn’t work with Level 2 chargers, so it’s strictly for Superchargers. I got it because I think for road trips it’s useful to cut charging time.

This is a really solid well built charging adapter. The cables attach and detach easily. We usually attach the adapter to the Tesla cable then plug the adapter into our EV. The writing on the side of the adapter says “Testing Standard: UL 2252” That is the new UL testing standard for charging adapters. Did this adapter pass those tests and is it UL listed? The adapter works well and does not seem to get hot when we are charging our EV. Having access to Tesla supercharging stations makes road tripping our EV less stressful. You are guaranteed to be able to find a charger that is ready to use. Using an App like “plugshare” shows just how many chargers we can use. Having lots of options, CCS or Tesla makes it easy to hunt for the cheapest cost per KWH. If you are going on a vacation and travelling lots of miles it saves money to sign up for one month of Tesla's Supercharging network. The monthly membership is $12.99 per month this allows you to use the Tesla Supercharger network at a discounted rate via the Tesla App. This adapter should help keep our costs down next time we go on a vacation.

I'm eagerly awaiting my car's brand to be eligible to use the Supercharger network. Having this adapter will make it easier to get a charge when that day comes. In the meantime, the QQAPL adapter seems to be well built with a lot of heft to it. The AC charging pins are not present - which is a good thing as they are not necessary for any DC charging adapter. The adapter seats in my car's charge port smoothly, and a NACS plug fits perfectly in the NACS port. Plug in the charge cable first, then plug into the car. As you plug into the car, the cable will be locked onto the adapter. If your car locks the charging port, nothing can be unplugged until charging is done, or you unlock the car and stop charging.I'll have to borrow my daughter's Bolt and give charging a try. If there are any issues to report, I'll update this review.
