This mirror is sleek, works as advertised, and only cost me $20 to install. I used a national well-known electronics store (IDK if I’m allowed to mention it by name, but, if you live in a metro area, there’s probably one near you). The Home Link feature took less than 10 minutes to pair with my garage door, and the auto-dimming feature works fantastically.

I found the installation pretty easy. It fit on the existing mount without any adapters. The wiring was easy enough as well, but I'm sure some cars are easier than others. This is a 2022 Bolt. It was easy to loosen a few trim pieces to run the wire down the fuse box, and I used fuse taps to connect the two wires. It looks great once installed, it looks like it was there from the factory. The auto dimming works perfectly, and the homelink paired easily with my garage door opener. The range is great, it works from about a block away. Very happy with this purchase.I should add that the "frameless" design actually puts a non-dimming border around the edge of the glass. In my case, my rear window is pretty small, so the undimmed edges of the mirror aren't usually reflecting anything from outside. But if I'm sitting at a slightly different angle, the mirror can end up reflecting headlights through an undimmed part of the glass. If your car has a bigger rear window, you might be better off getting the framed version of this mirror, which I believe does not have the non-dimming border around the glass.

This is exactly the same mirror that Kia uses in current models, but at a much cheaper price than Kia dealers want for it—if you can even find the Kia version. The mirror looks great, and works great; it's the same Gentex mirror. The HomeLink function is vastly improved over previous versions. The range is much better. It connects directly to Chamberlain myQ door openers and supports two-way communication, so you get visual feedback that the door is actually closing/opening.There are two downsides:The wiring harness included with this version doesn't include a wire to let the mirror know you've shifted into reverse. The mirror will remain dimmed at night when you shift into reverse, which means you may have to turn it off to back up safely. The wiring harness includes "vampire taps" to attach to the wires coming off your fuse block. While Kia specifies the use of these taps when installing their factory-authorized kit, the fact is that they suck and are a huge failure point. Not only can it be difficult to get them to actually make a tap, they run the risk of severing the vehicle wiring. I'd recommend using an "add-a-fuse" style tap instead. (Especially on Kias—Kia engineers are kind to us, and there's usually "spare" fuse slots that actually supply always-on and on-when-ignition-is-on power that you can use without interrupting power from any vehicle systems.)Installation is not for beginners. You'll need to remove A-pillar trim, which needs special tools (and quite likely, replacement clips for the single-use retainers that keep the trim from going projectile when the airbags go off). If you're not a serious gearhead, have a professional do the install for you.

2024 Kia Sportage hybrid sxp: mounted perfectly and installing was a breeze! App setup using Bluetooth made it a breeze. Simply press the learn button from door unit and the press the mirrors button as the app walks you through it.

A little expensive but made a nice upgrade to my Lexus interior. The garage buttons are put in an easily accessible spot, and the indicators tell you which way the door is moving/ if it was successfully closed or failed. The dimming function works well and the hinge is very sturdy and stable.

I just finished installing this in my 2024 Silverado 2500. I ordered a lower spec LT model that didn't come from the factory with an auto dimming mirror. Live and learn. My last truck had one and I didn't realize how much I missed it until the days got short and the nights got long up here in the northern US. This ended up being a super easy install once I found the switched power and it looks and works just like the one from the factory. I love the sleek look of the frameless mirror. If you're on the fence, it's time to pull the trigger. Just like factory at half the cost. Love it!!

Just got a new 2024 Tacoma, and would you believe it didn't come with HomeLink?! And since it's a total redesign of the truck this year I can't get Toyota parts. No problem, this mirror has all the features I wanted including HomeLink and auto-dimming, plus it has Bluetooth so I just downloaded the app and programmed my garage door opener and community gate in a snap! And I should mention that it's a lot cheaper than the OEM (which I can't even get). Installation was really easy because the connector was a perfect match. It literally didn't even take 5 minutes. One side note, I had to buy the mirror twice...the first time I was sent the wrong mirror. Not a big problem. Just delayed the install a few days.

The dealer wanted a crazy amount of money for a similar mirror and I saw this and thought “Why not?”. It looks great and works perfectly! It came with a wiring harness and taps to get power for it as well as some foam to wrap around the included connector to be sure it does not rattle. It only has 2 wires- one “hot” for when the car is powered on (pick a wire that turns off when the car turns off or you run the risk of draining your battery) and one for ground. The mounting was perfect for the one the factory put in and I had a handy area nearby (an overhead light that turns off a few seconds after exiting the car) so my installation was a breeze.I wasn’t sure I would like the frameless aspect of this but it looks great!

Mirror works, easy enough to install. Wiring diagram would be helpful for the extra signals though!

El acabado y calidad son excelentes, muy bonito, pero no pude instalarlo porque el adaptador no era compatible con el que traía mi vehículo.
