My 13 yr old son loves different shapes and colored rocks, stones and gems. And he has an obsession with tuetles. This was most definitely both. It was a huge hit.

The product came a day late but otherwise the rocks were really nice. And my son enjoyed the surprises for each day. We can't wait to see the rest of them.

I bought 2 of the same for the Elves to give my kids. There are SEVERAL days where it's only a tiny bag of pebble rocks. Very disappointing. The only point for these is to get all in their carpet etc.I won't be buying or recommending this.

Though my daughter is now in her upper teens, she has always loved collecting shiny gems. When she was very young, we'd go gem mining in the mountains and it's something she still likes to do today. I thought this would be the perfect calendar for her.Taking a sneak peek at the contents since it's not quite the right season yet, I was happy to see the quality and variety of the stones. I have no idea what she's going to do with a collection of shiny rocks, but that's never stopped her from collecting them before. Some of them are a bit more finished and made into shapes with this set at least.

I did open a couple of the slots so I could review this item, the gems are really cute and I love the calendar as a whole, it seems quality. I can't wait for December to open the rest!!
