A lovely Christmas scene that borders on *too* busy. It's a village with the ocean shore in the background. I love jigsaw puzzles in general, but this type in particular. Who knew that by breaking a 1000-ish puzzle into 24 boxes for Advent, that it would ALSO make it manageable for my 90 yo mother in cognitive decline to be able to work it. It's been a great blessing, cheering her makes me happy, too. I've gotten several of these so we can work them all year and hopefully help keep her mind in the here and now. When done, we're going to glue the pieces together and save it to hang as a decoration next Christmas. Fantastic idea.

Ordered after the holidays so emptied the boxes (carefully, to save them) and put puzzle together as typical. Puzzle was fun to put together; had enough same-color areas to be a bit of a challenge. (I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10 on challenge level). The pieces are sturdy and well cut, and there were no pieces missing. Yay!! I really enjoyed putting this puzzle together and would order this one again definitely.

I did not get this in time to use it this year. However, I opened up the box and put a few pieces together. What a nice activity for the family during Advent! I wasn't sure how an Advent calendar works. So in the puzzle box, there are 24 smaller, nicely decorated boxes. Each contains about 40 puzzle pieces. Each box of puzzle pieces has a corresponding letter or number. So on Day 1, you put together a certain area of the puzzle, according to a poster which shows the picture on one side and the identifying number or letter on the back, using just one of the smaller boxes. Repeat for 24 days, until Christmas! The pieces are made of a nice, sturdy material, and they snap together well. Good, sharp colors, with lots of details, which is what I find engaging in a puzzle. My family and I will put this together during the next Advent season. Highly recommend

My family really enjoyed doing this advent calendar puzzle as we counted down the days to Christmas. Each day you open a box that includes a small section of the puzzle, which means you are slowly progressing to finish the puzzle as the days get closer to Christmas. I liked how the puzzle pieces have the day's number on the back so we could actually reset it up for next year. This will be our new family tradition. I certainly recommend this for your family too.

I ordered these a couple of years ago and had my good friend's grandchildren help do them. I think I enjoyed them more than they did. I ordered these at the beginning of the new year because they were on sale for a great price and because I love the magic of Christmas and enjoy putting the puzzles together so much. I find it very relaxing. The one thing I have a hard time doing is waiting a full day to open a new box. They arrived in a box - 1 had cellophane wrapped around it, the other did not. I hope that doesn't mean they were returned for any specific reason and sent to me. If so, it's not a huge loss other than a great puzzle that brings me joy. It also comes with a large size poster that is beautiful. Each puzzle contains 24 boxes - there are 24 pieces in each box for a total of 1008 pieces. There is a note that says: ABOUT MISSING PIECE: If you find any missing piece, please get in touch with us. We will provide a solution as soon as possible.

So fun for the family. Great alternative to a candy advent calendar!!! The kids and family love it. Great for all ages!
