A total bust! The pictures tell the story, not one plant germinated!! The counter shows 16 days since I planted the seeds & fertilized. Nada! I am more than disappointed! What a waste of money, and to add insult to injury the ‘return widow’ expired two days ago. Complete junk! Do not buy.

I couldn't be happier with my new AeroGarden! It was effortless and exciting to watch my herbs grow right on my kitchen counter. The hydroponic system is a game-changer—it eliminates the mess of soil while providing my plants with the nutrients they need to thrive. The LED grow lights are incredibly effective, my herbs grow lush and healthy regardless of the season. In only 1 week I'm seeing fresh basil, parsley, thyme, parsely! The automatic watering and feeding schedule makes it super low-maintenance, which is perfect for someone like me who doesn't have a green thumb.I also love how sleek and compact the design is—it doesn’t take up much space, and it looks great in my home. If you're looking for a simple and reliable way to grow fresh herbs and veggies indoors, I highly recommend the AeroGarden! It truly makes gardening enjoyable and effortless.

Great little starter Aerogarden, only thing is the seeds came with it are pretty old, I used by own seeds and grows as expected.

Had not so great results with a generic brand countertop herb garden, but I tried a harvest unit back in October and it worked great! With the sales I've been steadily buying more aerogardens, I'm up to five now and I love them! The dill I am naming icarus. My favourite model is the bounty but it's not going on sale often, the harvests are a good alternative though. It seems AeroGarden may be going out of business soon, but you can buy replacement pods + plugs online and just use your own seeds. In context of ROI you can theoretically break even pretty quickly in around 6-8 months, factoring in sale pricing and running costs. As a source of edible plants they are best used for herbs and salads, don't grow veggies unless you want to do so for fun.You don't always want to fill all the pods, some plants get pretty big and need more space around them. Filling all 6 pods is viable for tall herbs, but basil needs space. Salads may also need space depending on the type, and veggies should be limited to two plants per unit.Algae can be a real pain if you don't account for it, so here are some tips.- Don't add plant food until you see your seeds germinate. Seeds don't need extra food yet, and that leaves it to float around for algae to get an early foothold.- You can manually turn off the light for the first few days, the seeds don't really need it either, as long as they are kept warm.- You absolutely MUST cover any unused holes, you can use an opaque painters tape, or better yet, buy or print 3D-Printed covers.- When using an aftermarket pod, use (2-3 pieces or a piece torn in the middle) green painters tape to cover the hole, leaving only a small aperture or slit in the center. You can remove the tape once your seedling is starting to shade the hole, if you get direct light on the sponges/plugs during germination they will get covered in a layer of slimy algae.

I got this about 2 years ago when it was on sale . We have not been without fresh basil since. Dill and Thyme also do very well. I have tried Italian Parsley several times. It never grows. Although the company offers a guarantee, I was never sent a replacement.Holy basil tastes weird. Thai basil is very good. I have never tried it for anything but herbs. If you want to go into business making Genovese pesto, this setup will provide you with tons of basil. This spring I am going to experiment with using my own pods and seeds.Would definitely buy again.

Found this small indoor growing station after comparing several similar items. This has been such a fun addition to the kitchen as the family all love to watch the herbs and veggies grow by the day! It takes almost no work or maintenance as the pod system is super easy, you don't need to worry about having a green thumb at all as this thing takes all the thought and skill out of growing. It is nice to have some fresh food readily available and the short grow times make for quick turn arounds between usability in nightly dinners. This system is also versatile and you can do your own seeds if you want, but the ones sold are pretty cheap and make this such an easy system to keep fresh greens coming year-round. Highly recommend it for any kitchen!

I started some herbs in some good potting soil in a seed tray on my kitchen counter a week before my Aerogarden arrived. I wanted herbs in the kitchen to be easy to use and free of stuff that could get on them outdoors in my garden (bugs, dog and cat pee, etc,) A couple of the herbs started to come up by the time I set up the Aerogarden herbs. I set the herbs in the pots next to the Aerogarden to take advantage of the lights. Within a week, the Aerogarden plants sprouted and shortly overtook the soiled plants. Now I’m having to raise the lights every couple of days with how great they are growing. Except for the curly parsley, for some reason. I’m so glad I purchased this while it was on sale! My seed tray herbs are still quite small and will be transplanted outside.

The instructions are clear to follow. You get two different set of instructions, one for set up and the other about maintaining your herbs. The herb pods are packaged nicely and easy to place into openings. I have had mine for three weeks and have had to trim the Basil and Dill herbs down a lot. The light is going to be on for hours so place it somewhere that the brightness won't bother you. Programming the timer was easy after I had to reprogram it. I wanted it to start really early in the AM so it would turn off at a decent time at night. It's compact, clean and so quite you don't know it's on. The liquid food comes in a small bottle but it should last about 3 months. I would buy it again.

This is a potentially great product. Sone if the issues I ran into was the fact that the hood does not afford the plants enough vertical growth. I was forced to prune from the top to prevent scorching of my plants. My parsley Never grew proficiently, and my thyme grew a bit then suddenly died. My mint also was minimal. My Ti basil was beautiful grew so much I thought it best to try to transplant it into a soil pot on my window ceil from there it began to die. I thought it was apparent that these herbs would be transplanted to make room for the germination of others, but maybe that is not what the company had in mind. The implication for future transplantation and the immediate lose of my Ti basil and the fact that some herbs showed minimal or no growth, along with the fact that the hood is not vertivally high enough to avoid scorching of plants that did grow is why I cannot give this product my highest rating. The hood extension should be an easy fix. I would have loved the opportunity at reachable customer service to assist with my issue and a chance at a do over with my initial herb package at no additional cost I believe that the company noted that they would afford customers such an opportunity for those herbs that did not germinate. I could not reach customer service for this assistance. This is a good product don't get me wrong with some tweeks to the issues noted aerogarden would clearly be amongst the top initial garden growing products.
