Very easy to plant comes with a guide book. Great germination rate. The build quality of the wooden box is not that great it’s a very basic wooden box. Just keep in mind when you plant it do not use the whole pack of seed in 1 pot.Also the seller is very nice, when one of my seed didn’t sprout they send me replacement seed. This set is great to start a small garden

The set up is cute and as advertised but I have tried three times now to germinate the seeds provided. The first round the Thyme came up but quickly died after 2 weeks. I planted like 4 basil seeds and 1 germinated and then died after 2 weeks. The rosemary never germinated. The planted a bunch of mint seeds and only 1 germinated. I am not sure if it was because of the window I put it in. So the second go around I moved it to the kitchen counter and still nothing. It could be the seeds, the growing medium or the cute little bags. So I decided to start the seeds in a different seed starter tray with a different medium and under grow lights. The thyme sprouted 3 out of 4 seeds, not bad. I am still waiting on the other three things to sprout and its been 3 weeks. So, I am going to say, save your money and buy quality seeds.

Just received this and I really like it, but I am missing one of the hemp pots. It only came with 4 and was supposed to come with 5. Not sure how to fix this as my only option on amazon is to return it.

An awesome set! I love the cute little tools. Our herbs started to grow except they don’t come with the best instructions. It seems like we over watered them and they were molding the plants under the soil. The soil isn’t the best quality but good for these herbs and maybe for somebody younger!

Look for the price it's a super cute gift. None of it's particularly well made though. I wouldn't really recommend this if you're actually trying to start an herb garden and already have alot of experience. The whole thing is pretty small. Some seed types germinated and others didn't.I'm sure in the right conditions you could get a nice little herb garden out of it and they do provide everything. If you're serious Gardener though you'll probably be disappointed by the size and the quality. Drop the wooden frame and it'll break into 5 pieces.The mini tools are adorable if not a little bit useless practically. All the heads sort of fell off even if though they didn't get used. If I had some hot glue it'd be an easy fix. Actually if you are planning on ordering one I kind of recommend hot glue reinforcing everything if you plan on using it.Which again for the price isn't really a huge trade-off for me necessarily. It's a really cute kit so I'm not going to undervalue that. I did have seeds that germinated. They do provide everything. So for your money it's kind of a great value in that sense.Ultimately I think this is an amazing little kit for someone with a kid who wants to start a garden. I'm kind of surprised it's not marketed as such.So you know if you're a parent who does gardening and wants to keep your toddler/small child out of your garden, this is great way to give them their own little space. Other than that it's a little cheap and gimmicky but technically usable.That being said if I run across a small child who wants their own garden I probably would buy it again, although I would reinforce the entire thing with hot glue.

I was disappointed, the barely grew, and eventually the pots got moldy, so I threw them away. The "tools" are tiny, cheap and come apart easily, the plant stakes fell apart when they got wet. On the plus side the box was great and I repurposed it with 4 herb plants I bought and it worked well.
