I was not expecting where the bulb placement was Located. But overall after assembled it works Just has no running lights. ONLY Term signals

Easy to install just 2 wires thought at first was wrong one I ordered by my mistake color wires just different.

I needed the lower part of these lights for my Vmax as the originals ones were cracked. The original stalks were made of hard rubber and the light housing is metal. These ones are all plastic. HOWEVER...saying all that, these are inexpensive, and look correct. I used the stalks with my original metal light pods, and they look correct and feel solid. If you are putting these on a Vmax, you have to drill a small hole in the base for the locator pin (keeps the base from rotating).

Nowhere on the ad does it say they are not for road use. But after recieveing these lights and brining them to the place to have my motorcyle inspection done, I was told they are not DOT certified/approved and therefore can not be used on the road.

I put them on my VTX 1800 because the original ones got in the way of my saddle bags. I did have to drill the mounting hole a little bigger but that was my choice.

Cheap plastic junk, only 2 way lights (2 wires only and needs to be 3 for daytime running lights), ended up using the housing only to reconstruct the broken light.No rubber mounts, so likely not a long lasting solution.Not a direct fit for XVS1100 (front signals).
