I got these earbuds mainly for travel, but I’ve also been playing around with them at home just to get familiar. Right out of the box, they look modern and the case feels nice and sturdy. Pairing with my phone was smooth—Bluetooth connects quickly, and the app walks you through language selection and choosing a translation mode. There are six modes total. Free talk is the one I’ve used the most—both people pop in an earbud and just talk naturally. It keeps translating each person’s voice in real-time without any extra steps. I also used “speaker mode” at a takeout counter, and it helped a lot when the server and I didn’t share a language. Pretty surreal experience but also very cool. The battery lasted all day while I was out, and the earbuds are light enough to wear for hours.

I just got these translation earbuds and tried them out recently. They’re open-ear, which I really like because I can still hear what's going on around me while using them. To start, you pair them with your phone through the app, and once it’s connected, you choose which two languages you need. It picks up speech in real time, and the other person hears the translation through the speaker on your phone. There’s also a mode where both people wear an earbud and it automatically translates each side of the conversation. Pretty smooth so far.

These translation earbuds have been one of the more useful tools I’ve added recently, especially for anyone who interacts with different languages often. The setup isn’t complicated. You connect them through Bluetooth, launch the app, and pick from over a hundred languages. After that, you choose a translation mode—"dual" if you’re sharing earbuds with someone, “speaker” if you want the app to voice out your translation, or “meeting” for more formal situations where you need everything captured and translated in chunks. I also like that I can download offline language packs so I’m not stuck when there’s no signal. Battery life is impressive, lasting long enough for full-day use, and the charging case is compact enough to carry around. These aren’t just for travel—they’ve been great at work and for helping out neighbors who don’t speak English.

They don’t provide instant translation. Someone talks, the other person waits 5+ seconds, then hears the translation. This creates a very slow conversation. Not what I was looking for and returned them.

I recently had dinner with neighbors visiting from overseas, and these earbuds came in clutch. We each wore one using dual mode. The earbuds connect through the app, and once you choose your languages, the translations flow as you speak. It catches your voice and plays the translated version in their ear almost instantly. Meeting mode is another one I tested. It lets multiple people speak while the app transcribes and translates in real time—useful for group settings or even casual meetups. There’s also an offline mode, which is limited to preset phrases but still helpful in places without signal.

Last month I got these translation earbuds before visiting my cousins who only speak Spanish. I was a little nervous because my Spanish is not great but these actually let us have real conversations. I just popped them in and could understand jokes, stories, everything. The translation was super fast and usually spot-on. We even tried the free talk mode while playing cards and it kept up even with all the noise around us.What I really liked was not having to look at my phone or pass a device back and forth. Just talking normally felt natural. The battery lasted all day and the charging case is solid. If you travel or have family who speak different languages, these are really helpful. I wouldn’t travel without them now.
