Great power for such a small pump

This pump is super small but it filled up a kid's inner tube faster than a larger one that I have, without getting warm at all. I do like the deflate feature and that it comes with several attachments to use on various items. It's downfall is that it has a super short electrical cord, only about 3 ft. The price tag is reasonable.

I never blow up things manually. Gross! I make hubs or the boy do it haha. But I needed a new pool float and while I was shopping for it, I saw this Aida & Hani Electric Air Pump for Inflatables Air Mattress and decided to give it a try.It comes in a sturdy little box (good for me, because I like to store things in their boxes when possible, and this one won't take up much space in my pool toys bin) with a tiny instruction sheet. It's a tiny sheet with tiny writing, but I always read instructions before using an item, so i powered through with my old eyes. The instructions were obviously written by a non-native English speaker, with misspellings, some sentences that didn't make sense, and strange phrasing (e.g., "Never attempt to put hand of fingers into the inflation/deflation port at any time." and instructing to put the nozzle into the "air inlet" for both inflating and deflating.)But really, the idea is pretty obvious, and the box itself has how-to graphics. However, the instruction sheet does have important information, like that you must rest the pump every 10 minutes if using the larger nozzle and every 5 minutes if using the smaller. (I'm guessing one should probably err on the side of caution and rest every 5 minutes when using the medium nozzle.)OK, instructions read, so off to use it. You guys. The cord is SHORT. I had to sit on the floor right next to the outlet to use the pump. The three nozzles are attached to each other, which I appreciate--no losing one (the boy is notorious for not putting a thing back where he got it). The nozzles slide securely onto the air inlet (for inflating) and the air outlet (for deflating).I inflated a new pool float--the flat "mattress" kind--and it took 1 minute 38 seconds. Thirty-eight seconds longer than the listing says it would take lol but approximately 7 gazillion times faster than blowing it up with lung power would have taken. I'm guessing there are no standardizations in air valve sizes for certain categories of items, but for my pool float, I used the smallest nozzle and still had to hold it in the valve (yet the medium nozzle was too large). The nozzles are tapered, so push it in less for a smaller valve and farther for a larger valve.I then deflated completely that same float in 1 minute 5 seconds. That, I absolutely love. I hate trying to get that last bit of air out at the end of summer. It's impossible, and that prevents the float from folding up as small as possible, making storage inconvenient.I have not tested this on any other items, like an air mattress (the kind for sleeping) or clothing storage vacuum bags, but for blowing up pool floats, it's awesome.

Wanted and extra pump to keep on the deck by the pool and this one is perfect. The different attachments make it more useful, its lightweight and it has a long enough cord to make it convenient to use. Definitely getting another when needed.

I used it once to inflate a twin size air mattress and it took over 25 minutes to fill the mattress. I guess it's better to use for smaller inflatable things.
