I purchased this for my generator plug after the original started melting because of a the generator scooting a bit putting tension on the plug. I've been using this one for a couple months now and in comparison to the ones sold at Menards I'm quite pleased for the price and overall quality. It makes a much better connection on my 240v generator plug. A+ product and saved me a couple $
