Very good product, the best kill flash I've ever bought for my Aimpoint.

Is this lenscover overpriced? Yes. Is it actually useful for anyone other than a military countersniper? No. None of that matters though, because it's well-constructed and looks so tacticool. The only downside (aside form the exorbitant price) is the slight decrease of light level when looking through the ARD. It's better when used in tandem with a 3x magnifier, but slightly noticeable either way.

Very expensive but Aimpoint products are top quality and worth it.Extremely difficult to get on. I recommend a minute under hot water which loosens it up and it slips right on.My Aimpoint M4 2 Minute of Angle ACET CompM4 Sight came with an ARD lens but Amazon recommended this cover which also has ARD. Should have paid closer attention but I guess I was surprised when I received it and saw the sight already had ARD and felt as though the vendor should not do that.

This little add on ARD and lens cover replaced my cover on the PRO model and worked perfectly. I recommend this.

I have other ARD's on scopes and they are superb. I thought since it's an Aimpoint product and not an aftermarket, it would be as great as the optic. It was a little stiff to put on my comp ml2, but other than that it fits snug, it does have the feature to use the ARD or flip it up as well. I guess since it's not magnified, the ARD is very apparent when you're looking through it and the red glare is still very visible from the front. Most of the time i leave it flipped up. If i had it to do over, I would not have purchased the item and stuck with the stock flip up cover. Neat idea, just not fully functional or neccessary in my opinion.

Twist this cap back and forth when you're putting it on and it will go on fairly easy. It's a shame you have to spend this kind of money to get a cap for a very expensive sight, but it is what it is I guess. The product is as advertised and works well.

Nice, sturdy cap. The integral ARD (Killflash anti-reflective device) is a great idea, and it works well. This lens cap has three positions: fully closed, lens cap open but ARD (Killflash) down, and lens cap open and ARD flipped up too.Considering it costs $800 for an Aimpoint Comp M4s sight, Aimpoint Comp sights should come with these flip caps, instead of having to pay $20 for the rear cap and $60 for the front cap with ARD, an additional $80 just for the lens caps on top of the $800 you paid for the sight.Note: This cap was VERY hard to install, even more difficult than the rear cap.It didn't seem to fit at all, and I wasn't sure it was the right cap for this sight. After pushing for a while with no luck, I tried to hammer it on with the handle of a screwdriver but all that happened was I scratched it a little. I was about to try a real hammer, but I wasn't sure even an Aimpoint sight would be able to stand up to that abuse. Finally, I tried twisting the cap as if I was screwing it on, and then it finally went on.I'm taking away one star for the difficult installation and giving it 4 stars.
