I prefer the sock style scope covers instead of plastic. This fits nice on my 3x9 scope and is water resistant material. I take my gun out in pretty rough weather and feel like this will be good protection for my scope. I would recommend this cover.

This material is thick and has a good stretch to it. The pull tab works well for removing it from the scope. I do not feel comfortable taking this on a snow machine/4 wheeler since the bottom is just open, and could easily get caught on brush as you're going down a trail. Some velcro or preferably 2 partial zippers at either end would make this a lot more reliable. This is fine if you're hiking somewhere or going in a open field, but being in Alaska you find yourself going through narrow forest trails getting slapped by brush constantly. It probably would be fine since the scope is centered on your back, but it only takes one time of a pieces of brush to hit that perfect angle to get under the cover and take it with it.

Very simple, but well designed solution for a common problem.The neoprene material is thick and nicely stitched. In addition to aiding in keeping out dust and rain, the material is thick enough to help deflect and protect from bumps and scratches. The pull tab on one end makes it quick and convenient to remove the cover quietly when needed. Where plastic lens covers are more likely to be heard by game when removed.I like it and would order again
