I do a lot of acrylic painting, so I go through a lot of varnish. Lately I've been painting small figurines that my husband has been printing on this 3d printer. Some I've used in the past have been clumpy, and I've had to go back and repaint those sections. This varnish seems to work well. The small brush works for tiny areas, but I've mostly used my own bigger brushes. It goes on smooth, and it dries fairly quickly compared to what I'm used to. I tested it on a small item first, and then went on and varnished over a dozen more without an issue. I let them sit overnight, and they looked really nice the next morning.There's a slight smell, but it's not overwhelming. Also, while it's glossy, it's not so glossy it takes away from the details of the painting. The price is good, so I know I'll be ordering more.

I have not used this on a full finished product yet but did paint a little on a piece of Plexiglas. It did seem to produce a seal over the plex that I was able to later clean off with a scrub brush. The brush I used cleaned easy in just plain dish soap and water. Produced a clear finish that was somewhat shinny. I have some items that my friends and I will be painting soon and then they will go outdoors. Should be able to tell then how durable this finish is and how well it protects the paint.

This varnish does a great job of adding a glossy, protective finish to my projects. I’ve used it on paper mâché, but it’s also great for other things. I also used it on polymer clay. It applies evenly and dries to a nice shine. It also has little to no odor. Great choice if you need a glossy varnish.

I really liked this varnish, and it worked well even with very few coats! It works great in terms of applying easily and leaving a good finish, and the results on all my clays painted with acrylics were solid, so good notes there! The only issue is that it IS very slightly yellowing, despite claims to the contrary, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a perfectly clear finish. But I only noticed the yellowing on the unpainted white parts of my clay. On the painted parts, it's been fine, and I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.I love how it immediately made my pieces look more "real" and not just like the amateur attempts they are! I just used the included brushes attached to the caps and had no issues at all with applying the gloss.

I got these for varnishing 'air-dry clay' crafty things.The product reports that it's good for clay, wood, ceramic.. painting. Allsorts.It comes with a brush - similar to nail varnish. It smells like nail varnish - not unpleasant, and a convincing 'varnish' smell.Trying it out on some random lollipop stick didn't really give me a wow reaction, mind. It's pretty subtle, doesn't have a 'glossy shine' like advertised. It didn't glob, or produce any unsightly drips, and it did give the stick a slight shine. Which is honestly, the kind of thing I was looking for anyway, so... it gets a 'decent' from me, if a bit overhyped.

This is a good varnish for my DIY paintings and it does the job perfectly. The package comes with two small bottles which is practical for DIYers like me since the unopened bottle stays fresh. I applied it to my acrylic paintings and it worked well. The only downside is the brush that comes with it as i prefer using a specialized brush. It yields a clear finish with a somewhat shiny effect and has a scent similar to good-quality nail varnish which isn’t unpleasant at all. Overall a good varnish for the price.

This Varnish smells super strong, it probably should be only applied outdoors (it set off my air purifier's air quality detector). I had an issue with the varnish beading up on the surface after being spread out, this may only work on a surface that has been primed or absorbs some of the varnish to help it stick.

This was a decent varnish. It was easy to use and put onto my clay and stone projects. It is air dry so depending on the air flow where you are drying it, it might take a bit.My only concern was that it had a slight yellow tinge straight out of the bottle. It does look like that it is not yellowing any further but then again only time will tell if it will yellow further.
