The control block started leaking within 3 months from the "P" port connector on the control block. It was so bad that I easily diagnosed it as soon as I dropped the protective guard. The compressor works good, but the poor quality control block fails too easily due to the poor quality fitting used to assemble the control block to the compressor. I suspect that is why the others had problems at 3 and 4 months with suspension deflation. I swapped it put with the one from my original unit and it seems to be holding. The bad part is that the connector is a press in like the picture below and is not serviceable; when it fails you can't do anything but replace the block.

My review is of the AKWH air shocks here. I also made a review of the Vahaha (funny name!) air compressor. The shocks work. Has been only 10 days, but so far so good.My application was an F15 2018 BMW X5 40e (hybrid) which has the rear air suspension. One day I suffered both rear air shocks not working so had to do something. I purchased these AKWH air shocks for under sixty for the pair and the Vahaha compressor for a buck twenty something. All in, under two hundred when others on the internet said the parts alone were over a grand and the dealers would charge two to three K for the repair.Anyway, I had noticed several months ago the driver's rear suspension would collapse overnight. But it always pumped itself up in the morning when I'd open the door. And it drove fine. My guess is that my inattention to that caused the original compressor to run more often than needed, or constantly, and thus fail early. But I wasn't sure if the other air shock was also faulty. For the price of these and the compressor, could just swap out all of it.The air shocks are as easy to replace as the videos show. the first one, like anything on a car unless you're doing if often, took longer since I was trying to figure out what was what and where to put a tool to aid in getting the plastic flange off the bottom suspension arm. But did both sides in under an hour. Not including the lifting/lowering of car and taking wheels off. I was in the driveway and kneeling most of time, if you have a lift it would be so much easier.I will comment that these seem less quality than the OEM's. Unlike the compressor I bought here which seems the equal to the OEM. I will add, however, that I was shocked how cheap the OEM's were too. I am an amateur so forgive me, but when thinking of shocks (air or gas or hydraulic) I am thinking something pretty robust. Like Bilsteins. But these are not, and neither were the OEM's. But in the area of fitment these had the same connecting points and fit the car exactly like the OEM's.So these things work. It has only been ten days, but wanted to add my review in case you were like me and thinking if these were too good to be true or if you would really buy dirt cheap parts from a Chinese sounding name off of Amazon. So far I am glad I did. I will return to this review if they fail or develop other problems. And if you are wondering about the whole repair, after changing both of these out and starting the car, my OEM compressor did try to inflate these but couldn't'. Got a little nervous about these air shocks but proceeded to replace the compressor unit with the one I bought here (Vahaha). under the passenger front seat, a pain to remove if not jacked up, but still capable. Got the OEM compressor and frame out, put the new compressor on the frame and reinstalled and started the car, compressor worked, air shocks filled up in about 10 seconds. and has been fine for the past week and a half.

Owner of a BMW X5 F15 e40 2016. After replacing the air suspension the compressor dry chamber needs to be dried up, otherwise, compressor parts or full replacement is needed. I started replacing the parts but for the price of this beauty I figured why not. It looks pretty much the same as the original (in pics, new is on top). About an hour overall replacement and the infamous "Chassis function restricted" is gone ... At least for now. BMW asked for more than 10 times to replace. Hey let's see how long it last but for now, very happy car. BTW, my problem wasn't the the air suspension was down, it was that air couldn't get out.

Updated Review #2: 1/14/2023 Sounds like 1 of them is leaking so for me it lasted 9/15/20-1/14/23 28 Months Time to buy another set!Updated Review #1: Bought 2 of them back on 9/12/20 installed it on the 9/15/20. It's Now 1/9/2022 and they're still holding up good! I replaced both sides. Would highly recommend!3/5 easy to install, the air clamp was a pain, ended up breaking the new one luckily I had the old one and ended up reusing that. When uninstalling the bellow, it was a pain getting the bottom compressed to push up. (would recommend a 2nd set of hands)5/5 value for money, not going to find a better option for the price.DIY save the money!
