Your cart is empty.The POWERAID Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm. The spacer utilizes it's unique, patented Helix Bore design to spin the incoming air charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. The spinning air action boosts the velocity of the incoming air and contributes to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture as the air charge enters the combustion chamber. The end result is more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power. This product is not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards.

I have a k&n cold air and a catback exhaust on my 08 colorado 2.9l before I put this on and maf sensor got bout 3.5 g/s added the spacer it went upto 4 g/s map sensor read 28-29 kpa went upto 30-31kpa at idle. I didn't get a whistle or any noise. Does respond a little better of the line nothing to wright home about. Might have helped my temp a little. The directions weren't so great though.

I received the part today, I was so excited got my stuff off to install only to see that the spacer was too small. I made sure that the description was spot on Amazon even said it would fit my truck... Nope. So now I'm trying to replace it for the new one and I have to send this one back wait for my money 2 to 3 days, then order a new one. Not a happy camper!

Hello everyone. I'm the proud owner of an '08 Colorado LT crew cab 4wd. My thoughts on the airaid 200-585-1 throttle body spacer:Pros:-Throttle response had increased by 10%-Great lower end torque for hauling-Engine now has a 'whispy' sound to it-Engine is quieter-Seems to be running cooler?Cons:-Instructions were slightly helpful (Chevy Silverado engine bay) I have a Colorado-Took me 2hrs to install (forgot to tighten the hose on the throttle body and gave me a check engine light)Overall I think this spacer is very well made and from quality material. Please read instructions very carefully in order to understand where u will be putting the part and not to put in install it upside down. There were # on the spacer that need to be facing up in order for correct installation. Other than that this product is pretty awesome looking. I don't know how this will affect my mpg but I will getting back to let you all know.

I can't say this is doing anything. The only thing I know is it makes a wistling sound like a little turbo. So other than a unique sound I can't distinguish any change in performance or mileage.
