Used this on a United flight after Take Off without issue. My toddler thought it was great and it was easy to pack along. The storage pouch detaches and is used to store the mat while not using it, which is honestly the only way these should be made! It's stretchy, but fits it compactly so it didn't take up much room in my bag. It's a little longer than the seats were and dips slightly at the end, but still worked great and stopped my toddler from losing his tablet on the floor more than once! I really think this makes it easier to fly with toddlers and early elementary. Ages this works best with are 1-5. We didn't sleep on this as it was a daytime flight, but I do think it's comfortable enough to make sleep easier on a longer or late flight for littles.

This toddler airplane bed has potential but left me a little disappointed. The material is soft and it folds up nicely into a compact pouch, which is great for travel. However, the velcro is too weak, my toddler easily pulled it apart, and the instructions were really hard to follow due to poor translation.

I ordered this Toddler Airplane Bed in the color grey, which I think is practical for hiding stains. It comes folded up securely inside of its own snap-on/snap-off, hanging side pocket which also serves as its carrying case. The bottom surface of the pad is made of a black fabric that has little rubber bumps all over it which makes it non-slip. The top surface is made of a super soft, plush grey material that is very easy to wipe clean. Between the outer 2 surfaces is a thin layer of padding, and judging from the springy feel of it, I think it may be foam. The pad has fabric binding sewn around the edges to keep the layers together and to keep the edges fraying. The pad's wide straps are sewn on very securely, and they're strong and tough...made of the same type of material as automobile seatbelts. The plastic hardware on the pad is heavy-duty and very large, so it's easy for your hand to find, hold and snap or unsnap. As previously mentioned, this pad has a removable pocket that also acts as its carrying case. The pocket hangs down from one side of the pad and connects to it via 2 metal snaps. This pocket/carrying case has a strap on its back side which clicks together so it can be used as a carrying handle or snapped around a rolling suitcase handle, backpack loop, etc. I really like that feature because it's less bulky than having a separate storage sack, and also because you'll never absent-mindedly misplace it and have to dig through the diaper bag searching for it, since it's actually connected to the bed and being used as a hanging pocket when the bed is in use. That was a great design idea! I'd definitely recommend this airplane toddler bed pad because of its comfort, non-slip bottom surface, convenient design features, and its strong, quality components.

I'm going on a flight with my toddler in a few weeks. We bought her a seat, so we plan to bring a car seat along as well. I wasn't sure how long she would enjoy being in a car seat, so I wanted to get this as well in case she wanted to lie down flat to sleep. This feels like decent quality, but have some concerns with its use.I have no issues with the quality of the item. It's soft and compact, making it easy to pack, deploy and comfy on the skin. It contains velcro straps and a buckle, all of which seems sturdy enough. But an immediate issue that comes to mind is that this attaches to the front passenger chair's tray table. If the front passenger chooses to recline, then it will move the toddler's bed and causes to slack down. If the front passenger makes several adjustments (ie. sitting up for meals, lying down to sleep), this will be a lot of movement to the "bed." That's a little too much dependency on the front passenger, who is often a stranger. The second concern is that there is no way to secure the toddler. The seatbelt is used to secure the bed, so if there is turbulence and they tell you to buckle the child in, you'll have to unfasten this and reinstall your car seat. This makes to no safer than holding the baby in your lap, which is not safe at all.I'll bring it with me, but I doubt I will make much use of it.
