  • The 70 pint isn't a measure of how much the unit will hold. It is a measure of how much water the unit will produce in 24 hours. If you are using a hose drain there is no tank to worry about and the 70 pint unit just works faster.

  • FAN: Circulates indoor air. In High & Low mode, the humidity can be selected between RH40%-80% and (continuous dehumidification).

  • Because the evaporator is working, the moisture in the air condenses into water and flows into the water tank. After passing through the radiator, it becomes dry air.

WOW! This unit pulled out 8 cups of water in 9 hours runtime. I live in So. Texas on the coast. Very hot and humid. The manual said to let the unit sit for 24 hours when you receive it to settle the compressor. And I did that. Very impressed with this unit. Highly recommend this unit. I have COPD and this allows me to breathe better. How to clean the filter. Take out water tank, pull down both tabes evenly, take off the back and filter, wash thoroughly and allow to dry completely, then replace filter and tank. There ya go.

It works pretty good in a small apartment. I would like it if the well was bigger but I’m otherwise happy

**updated see bottom***Have had this unit running a month now...Out of the boc after storing upright for the recommended time, the unit did lower the humidiry somewhat in the basement but with 3 flaws: #1 unit leaks even with using the drain hose the small catch bucket oddly still fills up with water at times over flowing a bit. Wierd how the drain hose does drain yet the catch bucket fills also. Perhaps i have a leak somewhere but this happened right out of the box. #2 unit runs non-stop never reaches my desired room setting indicating to me its under powered and not the advertised 70 pints removal/day. #3 display panel lcd when pressing the mode button down for 3 seconds to checck room humidity level shows 138% or another larger type #??? Not sure whats up there. I feel this unit would perform maybe better in a small room it is pretty quiet that said either i got a lemon no customer service # listed in poorly written manual...looks like i'm out $$$ and buying a better unit elsewhere. *ipdate* Seller reached out and offered replacement or refund for the issues i had. Appreciate their strong customer service.

12/11/24 I have been a homeowner for many years and I own rental properties as well, so I have bought many different dehumidifiers in my lifetime. I just received this dehumidifier and have been extremely disappointed and I’ve already issued its return. The first problem is that the model number, which does not show up on the Amazon post, is AP20-1905EE. This model number is discontinued and it looks like it has never been sold in the United States by AirPlus, it’s directly from China, and only sold to Amazon. Trying to find a YouTube video or any information about this product is impossible. I gave my device plenty of time to sit upright and let the compressor “normalize” but the LCD screen never gave me any number but 27 and the fan speed, even on high was extremely weak! This thing could never work as a dehumidifier for 4500 ft.²! The drain tube was the size of a large drinking straw, so I can see why everyone has their complaints about the drain tube not working. I didn’t even want to bother trying with this item. I returned it the day I received it.

It’s a very powerful dehumidifier. It does what it’s supposed to do which is suck water out of thin air- and it does that very well.It took me a while to figure out the draining option though. First it wasn’t working and the tub kept filling up. Then I noticed in the manual it said that only having the dehumidifier raised above the drain isn’t enough; the hose can’t have a V or U shaped bend anywhere- not even a little bit. When I fixed that, it worked like a charm. Advice to the manufacturer: make your drain pipe wider and it will be much easier to drain the water.Once full, the tank is impossible to pull out without spilling water. Also, you can’t empty the tank without spilling water either- so, poor designing in that. Another flaw is that the humidity level display is not accurate.

The unit seems to do what is supposed to: eliminate water from the air. We are building our house and we are using it for the basement. We are not using the tank but using the flimsy hose that comes with it, discharging it in the shower. However, the unit runs without stopping. Would like to know how to set it up so it shuts down once it reaches a desired humidity level. The instruction booklet was of no use at all.The other issue we have found is that when we shut down the unit, for example to use the extension cord to connect something else, the unit apparently leaks from the bottom creating a puddle under it. I have not had the time to investigate where the leak is really coming from but getting water all over is something not desirable.Need for customer service to contact me to see what we can do otherwise I will be retuning the unit after a couple of weeks of use.
