I will update this as time passes but so far I love it. It was difficult to break in which I think speaks to the durability and quality that I expect. I dropped very few balls from a pitching machine. When caught in the pocket, it has a super loud pop. I'm more than pleased with this purchase so far.

Yes, the gove is stiff, but that's what you want. There's plenty of good videos on how to properly break in a catchers mitt on YouTube, follow those but please, do not do the oven or microwave "tricks" and this thing will last!Bought it for my nephew, a sophomore on varsity. Took a good amount of breaking in, but is exactly what we were looking for. Lots of pop (makes pitchers feel good), but best of all, plenty of good pocket space (i broke it in in the "box" style). This should last a long time.

Good looking glove just way to stiff for my 10 yr old to break in. Not strong enough hand strength to work it in.

Ordered this awesome right hand throwing catchers mitt for my son for Christmas and received a left hand throwing first basemens mitt. He gets one big gift and that's what he chose. Merry Christmas son!!
