How to Install the Light Kit
- Connect all the 6 light sources and their fibers.
- Use something like wire netting(NOT includes) to separate each fibers to make them in the same distance.
- Put the light source at the suitable distance and fixed them (such as with plastic tie or something else you have).
- Connect power adapter to light up.

This fiber optic light system is a unique way to add color and movement to a room. These light are genuinely the COOLEST lights. The fiber optic cable plugs easily twist into the cord and light up so brightly. There are a TON of individual strands in each plug. I would just say to be sure you have a grid or a plan for how to seperate them so they look like they do in the photos because the individual pieces need to go through something to be seperated. Definitely don't underestimate the work that had to go into these to make it like the photo. The remote works well which is great since they are hooked up high in the ceiling. I love these lights and LOVE what they've added to my space!

Simple fiberoptic setup. Not as intricate as ones with a single box and single output. Works well with the app. Looks great. Easy to setup if you watch YouTube videos

This fiber optic light set is the best that I have seen. It comes with six small light engines that I can use to make multiple colors at one time. You can cut each strand as needed or leave them all the same length. They can give off an awesome waterfall look, a weeping willow style or plenty of other cool possibilities. Not really sure about the app yet but the lights work great and you can get very creative with these.

So, to get the obvious out of the way first, if you want to install this in a home environment, you may have some difficulties. The manufacturer recommends an "iron mesh", which I assume to mean hardware cloth of some kind. Needless to say, mounting it on a residential ceiling won't be a simple task.However, in a commercial setting where you don't typically have a "finished" ceiling, such as a bar, night club, etc., this would be much more appropriate and useful.The lights and fiber optics themselves are pretty cool, but unfortunately it requires an app for full functionality, and herein lies the rub. Taking a quick look through the app reviews on the Play Store reveals there are more problems than not, and the worst part is the manufacturer pretty much IGNORES all the negative reviews and pretends like they don't exist.The best thing a company can do is respond to problems users have with their app, and work towards improving it. The worst thing a company can do is simply not care. Among the chief complaints are connectivity issues, Chinese-only instructions and prompts, and requiring permissions it shouldn't need, such as location information. There is no reasonable purpose for an LED light app to need to know where you're at. Some permissions I get, such as being able to use the microphone so it can respond to music. But location?If the manufacturer decides it wants to start paying attention to people's complaints about the app, the lights might be worth getting, if they begin to address some of the faults. Until then, I suggest doing a very thorough "test run" to ensure it works the way you want it to.

This fiber optic lighting is a fun and customizable way to add ambient lighting to any space. The music sync and remote control features are entertaining and allow for dynamic color changes and effects. The 1200pcs of 8.2ft fiber optic cables provide ample coverage for ceiling or wall installations. While installation might be a bit involved, the effect is impressive. This is a unique and vibrant lighting solution, especially with the music sync capabilities.

Kit includes a remote, and 6 mini RGB color changing hanging fiber optic lamps, with a music mode which will change color and/or effects in sync with your music offering adjustable brightness, mode speed, and 1/2 hour delay shutdown. They also show anAPP control via Bluetooth, however I have not tried that. I took off a couple of stars as apparently their install instructions show that these need to / must hang from the ceiling in/on a wire mesh which is NOT included in the kit for the cost which makes they useless to easily hang and use.

I had ordered this fiber optic set to hang over my music room to give it a starry night feel which I think would look amazing. However, I will admit that I did not realize the amount of tedious work it was going to take to make that vision come to life as this is something I have never worked with or even attempted to install. The kit itself is fantastic and has everything you need and plenty of it to cover a wide area BUT I will admit that after watching several videos, I feel that I bit off more than I can chew on this vision. Installing these is going to be a very tedious process and one that I will have thoroughly think through before proceeding. Each strand clump has enough length to create the look that I am going for. I did an initial test to make sure everything worked and even tested out the mysmartled app to see how user friendly it was. Everything looks great and seems to be working as it should. I can't wait to get it installed. The kit seems pretty straightforward as far as installation goes, however, I cannot say the same about the vision I have in my head and making it happen....Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!
