The cardioid polar pattern makes it very easy to use, as it focuses on sound in front of the microphone while reducing feedback and unwanted noise from behind. The Perception P4 comes in a solid metal case to withstand tough day by day stage use. An integrated stand adapter for snare, tom tom and the like makes this microphone highly versatile and easy to use. The package also includes a zip bag for safe transport and storage.

I compared the Shure SM57 to this and I felt this mic did a better job. The clips won't work on my LP Conga rims but may work on other models.

Costruzione robusta, ottima risposta sia in live che in registrazione; li utilizzo sui tom e sul timpano, secondo me a questo prezzo uno dei migliori acquisti

Clean and clear.. very much like a condenser, surprisingly it also works great with voice.

These are great for the cost and only reason I gave 4 stars is because the clips could be better so you may want to upgrade to metal clamps.

Perfect for toms and decent on snare. Great value, although bleed rejection isn't great so although snare positioning is super due to the size, they pick up LOTS of hat. Way more than a well positioned sm57 for example. They sound great for the money imo.

Budget Akg made in China. I read up on these and these seem like a good investment.Used it on Acoustic guitar so far for a track .I have not tested on drums yet .but I bought a pair for drums tom toms..Actually quite smallgood sounding microphones and at £45 each who's complaining ..nobody buys your music, so you have to record at home and give it away free these days 😉

Nada que envidiarle al SM57 de shure, para instrumentos es magnifico, para voz no tanto, pero haciendo una buena ecualización sonara decente. Ampliamente recomendable.

Currently us this mic for my podcasts and have 3 of em up and running. I love AKG products and cant wait for some more podcast mic options as these are considered instrument / drum mics. But hey with EQ and some training they work great on voices as well which match up to my AKG D8000M mics.

Great mic for the price, works better on toms and snare, it delivers a clear bright attack, I didn't like it on guitar amps though, it sounds too bright on that application for my taste, however paired with another microphone it can help brighten up a dull amp.It sounds surprisingly good on vocals too, for the price it's hard to go wrong but if you can spend a little more get the D40 by AKG, that is one killer dynamic mic or an AKG P5, a killer dynamic mic that works great on many sources, has much better bottom end than this little mic,

Mic clip broke when trying to install, a replacement had to come from AKG, not supplier.
