Replacement for a 22-year-old control that had been saltwater damaged. Did have to cut off old and new connector modules that were not compatible with each other, strip wires, and re-attach them with wire nuts. It's low-voltage, so it was easy work. I highly recommend this control if you have an Alladen chandelier lift. It may not be compatible with another brand. Just so, you know, disregard the listing's 12 x 12 size, it's actually much smaller about 4" x 3". The lift will rise and lower without reprogramming If you don't want to bother with keeping your finger on the buttons while the chandelier rises and lowers. The lift moves very slowly, so if you have a long drop like a multistory stairwell and want to lower the chandelier all the way down to clean it, you could be in for a 10 minute finger on the button situation to lower and 10 more minutes to raise it.

This switched worked great until it stopped working after 4 months .. total waste of money . It’s garbage .i don’t recommend it .

We actually bought the $1k chandelier lift from this company. Bought this as a add on, which didn’t work. Seller wouldn’t refund it.

This is way better because you can set the length for this to come down and up on its own instead of having to weight while turning the key. Only problem is the visual esthetics - for the price I was hoping something more modern and prettier? Com on I could by a brilliant home for that price!

This should definitely be standard equipment with the Aladdin lifts. So much better than the simple key.

Works as advertised. No problem with product but should be included with the lift. Do not turn off during mid cycle as it will loose it's programmed position.
