I had this unit installed by a liscensed HAVAC tech (my son) and the installation went well. it was nice to have everything needed in the kit though some of the items we didnt need. the kit did not provide an wall tube to keep moisture from wetting the insulation but i had already bught one as we were doing a replacement instead of a intial installation (a pvc pipe would work well) the flanged hole cover really isn't needed unless you have to drill your hole in an area that the inside head will not cover, we were able to cover the hole with the inside head.Once everything was done and installation was complete we turned the unit on and got an E2 code that means your inside or out temerature sensor in faulty so we checked the inside unit and found no issue so we took the top off the outside unit and my son was able to find the utside temerature sensor located way down in the bottom of the unit and discovered that the sensor was not plugged in at the factory. we plugged it in and the code went away and the a/c works great. it is a very quiet unit and done very well cooling my large master room. I hope the sensor issue we had helps others especially since contacting the seller or manufacturer in impossible. I think for the price it is a good deal. can not speak of the longetivety at this point

For the price this 24K BTU mini split looks to be a true 24k BTU system for heating and cooling. Whereas some of the advertised 24K mini splits aren’t the case when looking at the AHRI certificates. The operating range of the unit is from 5F to 125.6F, picture from the installation manual provided. I have seen wider operating temperature ranges, but at a higher cost than this one. The unit comes with a 5 year warranty on the compressor and 8 year warranty on the parts which is one of the better/best warranties I have seen on Amazon at this price point.I purchased the unit on April 13, and it shipped from CA and arrived in MO on April 21. The two boxes the unit came in were received in fair/good condition, but there were some bent condenser fins on the back side of the unit, see picture. Upon unpacking the head unit everything looked to be in order except that I found 3 loose screws in the head unit box.The supplier Happy Tao has been very responsive to all my questions and requests for AHRI certifications.I will update once I have the system installed.
