Just like the ones you see in Italy. Part of the attached top flips back into handle to keep it propped open while serving. Very sturdy and good looking product. I already had a small spoon to use with it so the fact that it isn’t included doesn’t bother me because I was able to match my flatware.

We originally saw this type of cheese cellar while dining in Rome several years back. Some friends brought one back for us on a later trip. Since then, we have found a similar item through ScarletBrands and have ordered a couple for friends’ birthdays. The cheese caddy is a classy way to dress up a table for pasta night 🍝. It’s high quality and makes a great gift!

It's beautiful. I love this cheese dish. I purchased it as I usually have a lot of family at one time and the little glass I use for the cheese wasn't enough for the table. This is polished nicely and the glass is easy to take out and clean

Es gibt ja diverse Parmesan-Dosen, aber diese von Alessi gehört mit Recht zu den Klassikern. Mir gefallen bei Alessi eben diese, die aus dem Gastro-Bereich kommen. So z.B. die Zuckerdose oder auch eben dieser Parmesan-Behälter. Mit den neueren Dingen von Alessi (oft mit viel Kunststoff) kann ich oft leider weniger anfangen.Lieferung:Erfolgte schnell und zuverlässig durch Amazon, daran gibt es nichts zu kritisieren.Verpackung:In einem schlichtem, bedruckten Pappkarton, frustfrei, umweltfreundlich, besser geht es nicht.Design und Verarbeitung:Über das Design braucht man nicht viel zu sagen: puristisch und gelungen, finde ich. Ettore Sottsas hat hier gute Arbeit geleistet.Die Verarbeitung ist meines Erachtens auch über jeden Zweifel erhaben, wie viele der Alessi Klassiker. Dickes Edelstahl und Glas. Ich habe vorher bereits einen Parmesanbehälter besessen, der auch ähnlich aussah, aber in punkto Verarbeitung kann dieser nicht auch nur annähernd mithalten.Fazit:Wer auf schöne langlebige Dinge steht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen, klar kostet diese Dose deutlich mehr als Noname-Artikel, aber hier hat man die Chance einen echten Klassiker zu erwerben.Wenn Ihnen meine Rezension gefallen hat, wäre ich für ein "hilfreich" dankbar.

Great parmesean cheese cellar but, why isn't there a spoon included? Especially for the price, it really seems like there should be a matching spoon included.
