Although the bit is stamped 9/16, in reality it is closer to 19/32. I bought this to drill blind holes for a floating shelf, the bit is too big to fit in the 9/16 drill guide. I cannot attest to the sharpness or accuracy of the bit, but if the manufacturer cannot even get the diameter of the bit correct, it doesn’t speak well for them.

Poor quality, do not purchase. Drill bit flute split under normal conditions.
