I thought twice about purchasing this because of the negative reviews. I am amazed with this because itnretains the heat better than the juwel for some reason. Almost 24 hours later, the liquid inside is still hot! I am impressed. I had to give this a positive review. Only 4 stars because of thr price but if this performs the same for more than 2 years, the purchase was worth it, especially since there are many other brands that say they have equal performance.

Don't expect the same quality or feel of the product, if you are expecting the same top quality of the originals....this has a cheap feel to it, and the 1 1/2 lire one I bought with this one couldn't even be opened to fill it! Had to return it.... My old Alfis are more than 20 years old, superb to this day.

I received the kettle today ,even the design and quality of the kettle are more than i expect.i will buy it one more as a gift for my friend.

Like: design, looks, insulation.Hate: the stopper top, connected to the neck of the caraffe, has become detached, after a year of daily use at home. A much older model Alfi caraffe used in the same way--to keep the pour-over coffee I brew in the morning-- is going strong after close to ten years. I have contacted the manufacturer's support desk, let's see if they make things right. Disappointing.

Alfi Glass Vacuum is excellent. This design is not to easy to fall down when it is empty.
