was actually surprised by the sturdiness of this cleaning kit a very solid box and trays arent flimsy like other gun cleaning kits. Has plenty of storage space in bottom compartment for all your extras and cleaning chemicals.

Can't tell you how many times my group wanted a cleaning kit out in the wilderness. Plenty of room to add more things, for more calibers. Have everything that fits my needs and the crew. Wish I bought it years ago.

I was tired of separate cleaning rod cases and an open shoebox of incidentals. When I added a new caliber, I decided it was time to buy a “do all” kit but with adequate storage for my special odds and ends. The Allen kit had room for all the incidentals and great brass rods which would turn with rifling. It even had plastic muzzle guards to avoid dinging the muzzle crowns. And the price was much less than most comparable products. This is an excellent product that will handle anything I might acquire the future.

Mucha gente no gusta de los productos ALLEN. a mi en lo personal me gustan y se hacen productos de muy buena calidad.Los materiales y acabados de los accesorios son muy buenos. Solo le pongo pero al gancho de limpieza que es de plástico, pero tengo un juego (3pzs) de metal que suplirá sin problema esa pieza.La mayoría de las piezas vienen grabadas con el calibre para el que son así como la charolas donde vienen acomodadas.Si bien tal ves no tengas armas de todos los calibres los accesorios te pueden ayudar a limpiar otras partes y zonas de tu arma sin problema.Es muy espacioso. Le cabe prácticamente todo lo necesario para la limpieza de tus armas y te sigue sobrando espacio.No te arrepentirás de comprarlo.

Nice kit for the money, and awesome customer service to boot! Look--it's a typical brass separate-cleaning rod style, not a fancy 1-piece carbon-fiber rod or the like. Many of us grew up using similar kits like this. With that out of the way, the "tackle box" is solid and seems to have good clamps and obviously lots of storage space underneath. I didn't realize that the outer lid has storage on both sides of the handle too--it's a bit hard to see from their photos but both sides have frosted plastic covers for even more quick storage utility (not the greatest closures on those however, probably won't last). I like that all of the cutouts for each part has the name/size embossed into the plastic which makes it easy to quickly find the size I'm looking for. Also has a "3rd tray" in between the 2 upper main equipment sections which makes a handy place to throw down a dirty rag or parts. Comes with 2 diameters of rods (4 and 6mm?), 3 apiece plus 2 handles which is really nice when cleaning several firearms at once or having a helper so you can both work at the same time. Also, at least on the smaller rod size the jags fit into the 1st section. Several of the other kits out there do not allow that and you wind up with a 36" rifle-sized rod when trying to clean pistols with is a real PITA! Easily fit several Hoppes bottles, Rem oil, Ballistol spray, rags plus an Otis cleaning mat underneath with tons more room to spare.As for customer service--the 1st time I used the .17 jag it bent and broke off at the stem, leaving a threaded portion in the rod. I phoned the company and spoke to a real sweetheart who mailed out 2 replacement pieces that day. Then the following day I realized I had made a mistake and it wasn't the jag that snapped, it was the adapter for the .17. I was embarrassed but called back, spoke with the same woman who remembered exactly who I was and she still went ahead and got the 3rd piece out to me in that day's mail. So a bit of a ding for durability but awesome to know that the company stands behind the product and will help out so quickly. All in all a nice cleaning kit with several extra little things that I din't find anywhere else. Happy with this purchase!

I was very skeptical in purchasing this entire kit for the price advertised, but I approached it with a practical way of thinking: “I’m a hobbiest, not a gunsmith”. It won’t have carbon fiber rods, it won’t have the oils or solvents you need. It’s not a top of the line Snap-On brand box. But it is quality through and through.If for some reason your box upon delivery is broken, or parts are missing... don’t be a jerk, call or email amazon, their customer service is renowned, so don’t throw the product under the bus. Don’t man handle the components, and don’t try to make it do what other much more expensive kits do. You are buying this to clean your pistols and rifles effectively and efficiently; approach the task professionally and delicately. You’ll be rewarded with a product that performs well over and over again. And remember, bore brushes will always need some breaking in, so don’t get scared if passing a brush seems a little difficult at first. Make sure to check that everything is still threaded securely on your rods and handles. Also, do yourself a favor if you're new to this, watch some instructional videos online from competent gunsmiths who actually know what they’re talking about.It has most popular calibers arranged from bore brushes, mops, jags, and patches for pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Not to mention, it also comes with other brushes (nylon and brass); a definite plus. For me, it’s more than a complete set up. I really enjoy it. The box is not flimsy, and it came packed with exceeding amounts of cardboard and cushion. The box isn’t terribly big, but once you notice how small the parts are, any bigger and it’s just overly bulky. Plenty of room for rags, and bottles for oils and solvents. If you know what you’re doing and you’re not in the business of being gunsmith, then this is more than the ideal kit.Word of caution, if your barrels are longer than 24”, you will probably need to buy another brass extension. If you’re smart enough, however, and can afford it, buy a long coated rod that’s specifically made for extra long guns.One thing I wished it came with was a bore guide, but hey, that’s about $10.00 more or so on amazon too. For the price point on this particular kit, you’d be ungrateful to give it anything other than 5 stars.

Great quality case. It is one of the best organized cleaning tool boxes I have used. The quality of the cleaning supplies if a 4/5 but the case, the space and functionality is a 6/5. It forecasted up to 2 months to ship. Arrive in about 1 week. I will use these cleaning tools until they break and then replace with higher end cleaning products.I recommend it.
