The glove should be good for many years but the break in process is more difficult than most catchers gloves.

This catchers mitt is a must for players at the high school level or higher. Once my son started catching for pitchers above 70 mph, he seriously needed a high end glove. This is by far the best glove he ever owned. It did take a bit to work it in, but it is worth the extra $.

Good leather and fit. I thought I could buy a good mitt, but it's not new mitt. Is this used product!!There was no tag and it was dirty. Pads were bumpy and like sponge.the mitt is good but the store is bad. The Rawlings gloves I bought at another store were in a box, tagged and delivered in perfect condition.I doubt whether it is a Japanese-made mitt.I wanted to experience a perfect mitt on USA. I was disappointed.革もフィット感も良くて、良いミットを買えたと思っていたのに、届いたミットは中古にしか見えない。タグも無いし、汚れていた。芯もデコボコでスポンジのようだった。ミットがどれだけ良かったとしても店が悪い。他の店でRawlingsのグラブを買った時は箱に入っていたし、タグも付いてたし綺麗で完璧だった。本当に日本製なのか疑っている。楽しみにしていたのにガッカリ。2019/7/27 Postscript. 追記exchanged for a new mitt.I can not understand English, but kindly responded. Thank you.It is a very good mitt!!!

Purchased as a gift for my son. He likes the size and fit of the glove. It's a little stiff, but with any new glove; it takes a little bit of breaking in. Overall a great purchase since his other gloves are about worn out.

This is a great glove, however, I prefer to use any glove with two fingers in the pinky (believe it provides the best pocket for me), and this glove is kinda limited in its ability to do that. If you use the traditional hand placement(1 finger in each) this is the perfect glove, if not, I would recommend a different glove(Mizuno makes a nice glove for people that prefer 2 in the pinky).

Awesome mitt. My sons is 15 and loves this mitt. He catches varsity and some of our pitchers throw very hard. He says his hand doesn’t sting and the mitt is very comfortable. It does take a while to break in but all good mitts will.

Absolutely terrific mitt. Superior soft and light weight feel yet feels very strong. Break in time will take a while, which is expected with a professional catchers mitt. This mitt is made for the player who will be receiving pitches in the upper 80's and higher. All Star also sells a replacement pocket for this mitt that will enable you to continue to use this mitt for many years.
